Migraine Relief
Migraines can be complex and deeply disruptive, and finding relief often involves exploring different approaches. This post shares my personal experience using PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide), along with research, dosing information, and how it fit into my broader healing journey.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA)
Dr. Jadan suggests that Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) may support migraine management by helping calm neuroinflammation. He typically recommends 2 capsules twice daily, with results often taking 3–4 weeks.

Where I Source My Supplement
This is the company I personally use for PEA (lower cost, no fillers, all natural):

I started with 1 capsule twice daily and began noticing changes within a couple of weeks. I now take 1 capsule daily for maintenance.
Personal Experience
I began taking this PEA supplement in March and started weaning off my prescription medications within a couple of months. By September, I was completely off them. I also no longer need emergency medication.
I still take PEA daily. While I do still experience headaches depending on triggers, they are now generally manageable with over-the-counter medication rather than prescription treatment.
Additional Note
I later learned that Dr. Jadan has a practice in Michigan:

Final Reflection:
This post is part of my ongoing healing journey as I explore what has helped manage my migraines over time. I continue to share what I learn as I go, in case it may help others who are navigating similar challenges.
This didn’t start with supplements—it started with a turning point in my health that changed how I approached everything. You can read the beginning of my journey in my first post.
