Power to Become

Good morning! 🌞

Today is a fresh reminder of God’s faithfulness—new mercy, new strength, and grace already prepared for what you will face. You don’t walk into this day alone; you walk into it held, guided, and sustained by the One who never changes.

Power to Become

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  John 1:12

Receiving Christ is more than a moment—it is a transformation. In Him, we are given the power to become children of God, not by our own effort, but through faith in His name. This is the foundation of your identity in Christ—not achieved, but received.

Your identity in Christ means you are no longer defined by striving, performance, or failure. You are defined by belonging. You are His.

For those serving in ministry, this truth is essential. Your worth is not found in what you do, but in whose you are. You don’t serve to earn His love—you serve from it. As you pour into others, you also remind them of their own identity in Christ: chosen, loved, and called.

Let your service today flow from this unshakable truth, not from pressure or obligation, but from grace.

Challenge: Before you begin your day, take five quiet minutes to reflect on who you are in Christ—not what you need to accomplish, but whose you already are. Let that truth shape how you speak, serve, and respond today.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the gift of becoming Your children through Christ. Help me to live from my identity in You, not from striving or pressure. Quiet the noise of performance and anchor me in Your love. As I serve today, let everything I do flow from grace, not obligation. Remind me that I am Yours—fully loved, fully known, and fully held. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May you have a sublime Sunday on purpose!
