Good Sunday morning 🌺
As you step into this day, may John 16:33 settle your heart—yes, there are trials in this world, but in Christ there is peace and victory. Whatever this week holds, you are held by the One who has already overcome.
Peace for the Pressed and Faithful
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Ministry life is full—full schedules, full hearts, and sometimes, full burdens. Jesus never hid that reality. He told His followers plainly: tribulation will come. Yet in the very same breath, He offered something the world cannot give—peace in Him.
Notice the invitation: “that in Me ye might have peace.” Peace isn’t found in smoother circumstances or lighter loads; it is found in a closer walk with Christ. While trouble is promised in this world, peace is available in His presence.
What makes this promise even more powerful is when Jesus spoke it. He was on the brink of betrayal, suffering, and the cross—yet He declared, “I have overcome the world.” Before the victory was visible, it was already certain.
As ministry wives and ladies, we often carry quiet pressures and unseen struggles. But this truth anchors us: we are not serving for victory—we are serving from it. His victory covers every burden, every discouragement, every trial.
So today, when the weight feels heavy, draw near to Him. Let His peace steady your heart and His victory strengthen your spirit. You are not alone, and you are not without hope.
Be of good cheer—He has already overcome.
Whatever you’re carrying today, rest in in His truth, serve in His strength, and share His peace with someone today. 🌺 ✨
