Good Sunday morning 🌞
Spiritual battles require a resilience that human endurance alone simply cannot match. If you are facing trials or feeling weary this week, remember that you are not meant to fight in your own power. In this post, we are looking at how to anchor our strength in the Lord, put on His spiritual armor, and stand firm against whatever comes our way.
💪 Strengthened for the Battle
Ephesians 6:10-11 – “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Spiritual battles require strength, courage, and perseverance. However, our strength does not come from ourselves but from the Lord and the power of His might. Just as David encouraged himself in the LORD his God (1 Samuel 30:6), we must learn to draw our strength and encouragement from Him.
God has provided us with everything we need to stand against the schemes of the devil, but we must be prepared for the battle. The Christian armor is meant to be worn, not simply admired or put aside when life becomes difficult. We must remain spiritually equipped and ready, continuing to stand until our warfare is finished and our course is complete.
Even the strongest armor is ineffective if we neglect the strength needed to stand. We cannot fight spiritual battles in our own power. We must be strong in the Lord, relying on His might each day.
Remember: Our strength is not measured by what we can endure in our own power, but by the One who strengthens us!
