Good morning! 🌿 Romans 13:12 reminds us that as believers, we are called to be Clothed in Light. “The night is far spent, the day is at hand.”
Today is a fresh opportunity to cast off anything that doesn’t honor the Lord and to walk clothed in His light. May your thoughts, words, and actions reflect Christ as you go through this day.
Clothed in Light
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. ~Romans 13:12
Paul’s words remind us that time is moving forward and eternity is drawing nearer. Life is not meant to be lived half in darkness and half in light. There comes a moment of decision—what we lay aside, and what we put on.
We are called to “cast off the works of darkness.” This isn’t just about avoiding obvious sin, but also releasing anything that dulls our spirit or weakens our walk with Christ—hidden attitudes, quiet compromises, or distractions that pull our hearts away from Him.
But we are not left empty. We are invited to “put on the armour of light.” Light exposes truth, guides our steps, and reflects Christ in us. When we choose His way, we are not just resisting darkness—we are actively wearing His presence, His righteousness, and His strength.
Today is a good day to examine what we’ve been carrying. Lay down what doesn’t belong, and step forward clothed in light.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to cast off anything that does not honor You. Clothe me in Your light today, and let my life reflect Your truth in all I do. Amen.
💕 I’m praying for you today—that the Lord will strengthen, encourage, and guide you as you serve Him. Have a blessed day! 🌷🙏🏻
