Strengthened from Within

Today’s devotional, Strengthened from Within, reminds us where our true strength comes from.

Good Sunday morning, ladies! 🌸 I hope you are looking forward to gathering with God’s people today and spending time in His Word. As we begin this Lord’s Day, I want to encourage you to remember that no matter what we face, we don’t have to depend on our own strength. We can turn to the Lord and allow His Spirit to strengthen us from within.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Ephesians 3:16

In Ephesians 3:14-18, Paul mentions each Person of the Trinity in his prayer. He bows before the Father, asks for the strengthening power of the Holy Spirit, and speaks of Christ dwelling in our hearts by faith.

Paul understood the importance of spiritual strength. Just as our physical bodies need nourishment, our inner man needs to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit.

As ladies serving in ministry, we can easily become focused on the needs of others, our daily responsibilities, and the many things we want to accomplish. Sometimes, we may even try to do everything in our own strength. Yet, we must remember that our spiritual well-being matters, too. We need to seek the Lord first and allow His Spirit to work in our hearts and lives.

True spiritual strength does not come from our own abilities. It comes from the Lord as His Spirit works within us. When we feel weary, overwhelmed, or inadequate for the tasks before us, we can turn to Him for the strength we need.

Ladies, as we serve the Lord today, let’s remember that we must be strengthened within before we can faithfully pour into others. Our ministry is not simply about what we do for the Lord, but also about our walk with Him.

May we each take time to draw near to Him today, allowing Him to strengthen our hearts and prepare us for whatever He has placed before us.

🙏🏻 A Sunday Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the strength You provide through Your Holy Spirit. Help us to seek You first, grow in our faith, and serve You with hearts strengthened by Your power. When we feel weak, remind us to depend on You rather than ourselves. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a blessed Sunday, ladies! May the Lord strengthen you from within as you walk with Him and serve Him today. 💗
