Dec 13

5:00 woken by alarm. I’m exhausted and cold. Have headache and whole body stiff and throbbing. Sour stomach. Feel like I have a fever but don’t. Temp 97.1 .

Song: ♫ Goodness of God ♫

Scripture Reflection: Matthew 2:4-6; Acts 24-26, Isaiah 51:11

This weather is making my bones ache fiercely. Nerves in hands and arms are stinging. Sharp pain in incision area on left breast.

Few morning chores. I’m exhausted and my arms are throbbing. Need to rest a bit. Jordon calls to ask for prayer before heading into his English exam. Dezirae & Caleb have an English exam today as well.

Canned asparagus – able to get three jars. Dehydrating three bunches of green onions. Few more chores.

Lunch time. Dozed off in chair for a little while. Throat feels swollen. I seriously need to figure out if I’m allergic to certain foods. My arms are throbbing immensely. Mentioned it to Joe. He replies you have been working out with the exercises the Dr gave you. I reply, Oh, I guess so. Lol .

Take grocery bags to store to recycle. Buy a few needed items. Loud random hiccups in store cause another lady to giggle. I excused myself explaining hiccups. She said I know and giggled more. At least I was able to put it smile on someone’s face today. Stop at fruit market to get potatoes and celery. Pick up Dezirae from school.

Once home, balance checkbook. Pay mortgage. Say quick prayer because we are really low on funds. Friend calls to check on me. Tells me she’s going to set up a GoFundMe account to help out with bills. Work on bulletin for Sunday. My back and body is hurting and I’m exhausted. Need to rest a bit before dinner.

8:00 Fell asleep in recliner after dinner. Not sure how long I was out. Woke to severe pain, arms throbbing immensely. Stinging needle pain throughout body. Going to bed. I think I overdid it today.

Thankful for… 1. God’s provisions 2. Roof over my head 3. Bed to sleep in .

9:00 muscles randomly spasming in torso and legs. Severe pain has me in grouchy mood. Got up to take pain rx and 1/2 benadryl for itchy skin. Have bad headache too. Realize I forgot to take any of my vitamins today.

Ponytail fell out. Hair is now not long enough for a ponytail. I have mixed emotions. Sad my ponytail is gone, but excited because new hair is growing. It’s still blonde too. Severe weather warning with possible tornadoes and hail. Asked God for protection.

Dec 14

3:00 woke to use restroom. Arms still throbbing intensely but has eased slightly. Headache. Heart beating hard. Deep breathing. Mouth dry. Thirsty.

Song: ♫ God on the Mountain

5:25 woke just before alarm sounded.

Scripture Reflection: Luke 1:26-28; Psa 37:37; Psalm 92:2

Today’s projects: start to clean kitchen, and prepare for Saturday

Jordon called before his final exam so I could pray with him.

Jakob sent me a reel that says “You’re a good mom”. Both put a smile on my face

Noticed something today that every time I started getting really hot (hot flash) my arms start itching crazy. Had to apply cortisone cream to ease itching. Belly hurts. Constipated. Will need to take D.E. again. Apple juice leaves horrible rancid taste in mouth. Had to spit it out to keep from getting sick. Yuck.

3.30 I’m wearing out. Need to take a nap.

5:05 woken by phone call from Joe. A bit groggy when I woke. It felt like I just fell asleep. Didn’t realize I’d slept that long. Joe’s on his way home from work.

Wondering how Diatomic Earth can help. I know it helps regulate plus other health benefits.

Dec 15

Not sure how long I’ve been awake. Cold and hurting all over. At one point in night, thought my right shoulder and arm was popping out of place. It hurt fiercely. Must have been the way I was laying on it. Got really hot several times and took covers off. Once cooling down had to pull covers back on. Tossing and turning most of night. Bad dream.

Song: ♫ It’s amazing what praising can do ♫

Scripture Reflection: Luke 1:30-33; Psalm 92:2; Acts 27-28; Zephaniah 3:17

Continuing to work on program for the Ladies Tea on Saturday. Mom calls asking for advice and then help watching Dad while she runs to Dr office.

Skin itching on arms like crazy. Only things I’ve eaten were grits and eggs and a cake donut. Drank purified water. This is nuts. I’m guessing something in donut I’m sensitive to or my vitamins.

Almost finished with the devotional for Saturday. Just need to figure out one more game and get supplies.

Nervous about follow up visit with surgeon and oncologist tomorrow. I’ll be informing them that I’m going to refuse the radiation treatment. Need to ask about the immune therapy.

A friend informed me that she set up a go fund me account to help with expenses for fighting the cancer. I hope it works. Things are extra tight right now.

I’m in extreme pain in lower back. Took too many steps today or sat too long in wooden chair. Back of throat hurts and feels a little swollen. Took pm vitamins plus 1/2 benadryl and a tramadol for the pain. Swished with peppermint mouthwash.

Thankful for

  1. My family
  2. My salvation
  3. Able to go to church
  4. God’s provisions
