7:25 – 2
Kings 5:2-4
And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of
the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife. And
she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in
Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. And one went in, and
told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of
Israel.
What a mighty testimony this
young lady had for the Lord! She decided to serve God regardless of her circumstances.
Her diligence was so impressive that Naaman, captain of the host of the king of
Syria, was willing to listen.
Here’s a perfect example of the phrase “Be careful how you live. You may
be the only Bible some person ever reads.” This young maid’s life pointed
Naaman to Jesus. Does yours?
Ask God to help you not only live for Christ no matter what your circumstances,
but also help you look for opportunities to share Christ with others.
Didn’t sleep well last night. Woke every two hours. Ugh!
I have noticed it more recently that I loose muscle grip in my hands, but didn’t think it was that bad until Jordon was helping me put bed rails up in his room tonight and I dropped my side causing it to land on my foot! Ouch!
