June 20

745 woke in much pain. Joe heard me groaning. Decided to give massage. Muscles very tight and aching. Feel beat up. Guess walking Sam’s was not such a good idea. Verdict much pain later.

830 Need to get house ready for company. Got whole family to help. Yay!

1150 able take Ava back to Lawana’s house. Glad her surgery went well. Her daughter here to stay with her a few days.

1230 lunch at mom’s & watch a girly movie. Nice change of pace. Burnt 2nd bag of popcorn. Bummer. Tummy bothering me.

310p need to crash for little bit.

500p Joe woke me so I’d sleep tonight. Probably could have slept longer. Need to work on bulletin

1030 tired. Hurting all over. Neck hurts. Headache. Low back & rt hip ache. Throat feels swollen. White patches on tongue. Tongue feels slightly swollen. Difficult swallowing without choking some. Sinus congested. Hands & wrists throbbing. Neck feels like it’s sticky. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with some numbness. Feet cold. Toes tingly. Sharp pain at back of neck. Nerves making skin feel like it’s crawling. Took Benadryl instead of Zyrtec tonight with night meds & naproxen.

Sharp shooting pain in arms & hands. Center chest hurting. Pain in esophagus. Upper shoulder pain. Ears hurt.

June 21

730 back is hurting. Woke from bad dream. Headache. Legs ache. Hands throbbing. Whole body aches. Slight bloody nose.

800 realized I don’t remember where I put the father’s day cards I bought. Can’t even think where I might have put them. Ugh. I’ll find them when I least expect it. Lol.

830 decided to curl edges of hair for church. Arms fatigued out about half way through. 930 got extremely sleepy all a sudden. Having trouble keeping eyes open. I don’t get it. I took B complex but no energy. Guess need to increase it for a time or add additional B12.

1100 feet started sweating while playing piano. Had to take shoes off. Still struggle playing and staying focused. Face itching horribly.

330 took hour nap still tired but couldn’t sleep anymore

950 exhausted. Whole body aches. Face still itches irritability. Eyes watery. Low back throbbing. Rt hip hurts. Feet ache. Hands throbbing. Skin itches all over (probably nerves). Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling not too bad just noticeable. Sore on side of neck is burning. Headache. Feet cold.

1125p Applied pain roller to bottoms of feet & sleepy lotion to legs, arms, tummy, and hands. Put socks on.

June 18

730a woke hurting and stinging all over. Hurts to move.

Read Proverbs 4 & 18:10. A new friend shared 18:10 earlier. It has been such a balm to my soul this week.

400 called Dr this morning. Spoke with nurse. I should’ve asked to talk with her first. Explained what happened. She asked for correct rx info and called in. Also called in rd for junk on neck.

Found out that we have missionary incoming tonight at church. Jakob helped me keep from getting overdressed. Joe offered to pick up dinner on way to church from work. Don’t need to prep mission housing. Whew!

Picked up rx and few goodies for missionary kids and this weekend.

I totally forgot about the men’s outing at our home this weekend. At least I have fresh corn in freezer. Need to think of one more side & dessert.

730 trouble playing piano, rt hip throbbing with pain shooting down leg, severe pain/cramping in rt lower stomach area.

1047 Ava picked up to dog sit. Poor thing is scared. Her momma was scared too. She’s having pacemaker surgery early in the morning. We visited a little while & prayed with her. I saw the fear in her eyes. I tried to comfort her but almost started to cry with her. Stupid Covid junk won’t let anyone be at hospital with her. Lord please comfort her heart & give her big hugs tonight.

Totally forgot about biz mtg tonight. I was suppose to pick up Ava at 8:30p. Not gonna happen. Ugh.

Ache all over. Severe pain in lower rt stomach area with occasional sharp stabbing pain. Applied eo pain roller & took naproxen. Low back throbbing. Hands throbbing. Bangs are bothering me tonight. Skin extra sensitive. Toes tingly. Feet ache. Lower lft leg slight tourniquet tightening feeling.

June 19

100 Joe & I went to Sam’s to pick up some things for tomorrow. Had to walk behind buggy. Slow moving. Took several breaks. Towards end of trip legs got extremely heavy feeling and my pace extremely slow. Joe very patient with me and I am grateful. I did manage to accomplish a feat though.

Turned head too fast by bakery got dizzy and almost lost my balance. Thankfully, I was close to buggy and could grab it to catch my balance. Joe saw and reached out for me and asked if I was okay. Told him what happened.

430 worked on planning school year calendar plus planning out lessons for one subject. Need to buy map project book for history. Brain overstimulated. Brain fogging & swirling. Need to take break.

530 laid down for nap. Could have slept longer.

620 time to get ready for Jordon’s early surprise party from his grandparents.

1045 while I didn’t get as much done as I’d liked, I did get trash can area cleaned up somewhat. Washed load of towels. Washed a few dishes. Had to rest in between each task.

Lawana did well on surgery. Hoping she will go home tomorrow.

Medium headache. Sinus congestion. Skin itches. Neck hurts. Low back & rt hip hurt. Legs ache. Hands ache. Exhausted. Feet cold. Insides feel swollen. Bloated. Tourniquet tightening feeling lower lft leg.cache.

June 16

1040 last batch of corn in canner. Car in shop (CV shaft?), A/C went out & waiting for repair man to get here. I’m fading fast. Whole body throbbing. Preliminary tentative school schedule done. Crashing for little while.

1100a It was short lived. Fell asleep for 5 minutes only to be woken by phone call and shortly thereafter the AC guy showed. Guess I’m not getting that nap.

300p Have prelinary tentative school schedule planned but need to ask Joe’s input. My brain & body quite foggy & lethargic today. I guess everything is catching up to me.

Car ready for pick up. I’m to meet Joe at shop on his way home from work. Going to rest a little more. Absolutely no energy.

It’s amazing how spending time in the Word anchors your soul.

Amazing that Jesus’ name is a strong tower. Proverbs 18:10.

Today what could’ve been an overwhelming stressful day has not disturbed the peace in my soul. Car in the shop & is going to cost a pretty penny. While canning last of corn, my hands started cramping badly and I had to ask for help. A/C died sometime in the night and have to get that fixed today & another chunk of $ to fix. Also I’m quite lethargic today and feeling kind of blah. Can’t seem to get the unction in my junction.

Yet there’s a peace in my heart that the world never give me and a peace it cannot take away.

1024p whole body throbbing. Stinging needle pain in upper back. Hands & wrists swollen and throbbing. St hip & low back throbbing. Joe’s arm over me feels like that too. Nerves crawling.

1059 center of chest throbbing.

June 17

Very rough night. Scared out of sleep by a nightmare at 1am.

Scared out of sleep again at 3am box fan messing up and Joe almost dropped it making loud noise.

730 Whole body throbbing. It hurts to move. Almost as if the sudden jolting from the scares last night caused my muscles to contract in to fight or flight mode. Will take hot shower to ease muscles. Think I’ll have to look up how to make my own eo shower cubes for relaxing.

Arms fatigued out while showering. Soaked in hot water until energy regained.

1017a rcvd phone call from pharmacy that my order was ready. Cost $85. What?! It’s never cost that much. Will have to check on it.

1045 Taking Rae to eye Dr. This covid scare is so stupid. Have to put on face masks before entering bldg but I didn’t cover nose (can’t breath). Once inside entrance they took our temp. Then instructed to go wash our hands before checking in. Check-in nurse told me to read the hippa notice to left except when I went to read it the paper was the financial statement. I tried to let her know and it just confused her. Guess no one pointed that out before. Once read I had to sign tiny screen but it after she wiped pen with disinfectant wipe. Then she wiped counter down again after I went to sit down. This scare has people being germaphobics. I’m so over it all. Haven’t worn a mask til today. Only doing so bc Rae needs glasses. This is giving me a headache.

1125 mailman just entered bldg without a screen check bc girl wasn’t at desk?

130p stopped at pharmacy in my rounds today. It’s not even the correct rx. I told lady yday the exact name and dosage (propronolal) and that it was for my migraines. The rx called in was eletriptan 15 pills – that’s not even a month’s worth. Told pharmacist that I’m not getting it and I’ll have to go round with my doctor. Ugh! So frustrating.

Looked up rx name to see what it was. It’s totally wrong rx. I need preventative not emergency relief. Ugh! Other names for this rx include maxalt didn’t work. I have emergency rx which new Dr wrote script for that is working. Guess I’m gonna have to go have a talk with Dr. I only have two weeks left of current script.

I remember trying to wean off the propronolal but the results weren’t very pretty and migraines increased. Not that I like having to be on them but for now they’re a necessity. Ugh!

700 nerves thru body stinging. St elbow throbbing. Headache. Neck hurts. Chest hurts. Feet cold and achy. Lights bright. Hands throbbing. Grumpy. Legs ache. Muscles randomly twitching thru legs mostly.

1030 got into big argument with Joe. Apparently I’ve been complaining but getting upset when he does it. I had to have him explain what he thought complaining was because I didn’t think I was. He also told me that I’m bitter and angry. I don’t know how I can be those things when I don’t even remember what was upsetting me in first place. I usually just pray and ask God to help me. I tried doing that tonight bc I was getting frustrated bc I couldn’t wrap my mind around what he was trying to say. It just wasn’t making sense to me. I closed my eyes to keep from crying and ask God to help me understand so we can do better. Yet he perceived that I was just tuning him out and not caring what he had to say.

He gets frustrated because he has to repeat things multiple times and sometimes I remember and lots of times I don’t. Then when he brings it up I don’t remember discussing it and say we didn’t and this frustrates him even more. We’ve gotta figure out how we can overcome and adapt but I’m not sure how at this moment.

I comprehend my memory issues or lack thereof is from the lightning strike but I don’t understand why I don’t remember some things while I remember other things. It frustrates the whole family.

We eventually worked through it and are okay now.

1056 exhausted & hurting but overall had a good day. Headache.

Eye Dr visit, Mall Trip, treated kids to lunch at Chick-fil-A, stopped at store for few groceries.

June 14

630 whole body really hurting. Know I overdid yday, but necessity to get corn put up. Hurts to move.

700 had reaction to baindaid on neck. Left red welt in shape of bandaid. Ugh.

1130 brain foggy and swirling – not sure how to explain it. Muscles are spasming in my buttocks area. Feels strange. Exhausted and sleepy.

630 rt hip throbbing something aweful with pain shooting down leg.

Feet cold & hurting. Nerves itching. Upper torso aches like bruised.

730 muscles twitching in rt leg esp around knee

830 argument with Joe. He said some hurtful words but I probably won’t remember them tomorrow. Choosing to just pray and keep quiet.  I don’t handle that kind of stress well anymore though I try.

900 family helped shuck corn. Arms giving out and throbbing. Started falling asleep while cutting corn off cob. Close call to cutting fingers couple times. Decided to wait til tomorrow to finish. I’m exhausted. Entire back throbbing & stinging. Chest center stinging ache. Hands throbbing. Difficulty swallowing night meds. Feels like esophagus is swelling. Headache worsened.

June 15

630 alarm went off didn’t know I set it. Reset for 730. I’m still sleepy

730 woke just before alarm due to sharp needle prick pain in side of neck then randomly thru body. Strange dream, but song “God’s Word changes lives” repeating in background.

Low back & rt hip throbbing. Ringing in lft ear. Whole back feels bruised.

830 rt hand going numb while cutting peppers to dehydrate.

1030 lft 2nd little toe is numb & middle toe feels like it’s being stabbed with blunt ice pick.

910 weird feeling in lft toes gone. Working on corn in spurts. Arms, feet, & hands throbbing. Center of chest hurting. Need to take breaks to rest arms. Exhausted

June 12

700 broken sleep. Fell asleep after midnight. Slept til 3am. Woke again at 530a

Busy day. Whole body not only aches but is tingly burning sensation. Not sure what that’s suppose to mean.

Dr apt. Insurance apt. All before noon.

900 Chiropractor Appointment.

I had Dezirae take pictures of where the acupuncture needles were put in. felt a weird tingling chilling sensation in my brain for the first time. I don’t know if it was because of filling something in my brain other than a headache for the first time or what but I almost had crying I don’t know if it was because of filling something in my brain other than a headache for the first time or what but I almost started crying – neck feels a lot better already neck feels a lot better already. I have several knots – 2 in my neck, 2 in my upper back, 2 in my collarbone area, & 2 in my lower back.

Three areas (lft hand near thumb, neck lft side, & back middle rt) were tenderly painful today). Had to have him back out lft side neck a little.

Neck feels better. Lft hand sore. Tired & a bit dizzy.

Told Dr about giving my lightning strike testimony & Accuweather interview. He asked how to look the interview up. Told him he could Google accuweather with my name and it should come up. He seemed interested.

Stretched out my lower lumbar with special table. Accupuncture. Adjusted my hip, back, & neck.

100p I’m exhausted and in need of a nap.

300p I’m so exhausted and lacking of energy

415p making peach cobbler for dinner. Had taken 13×9 pan out of oven after butter melted. Mixed cobbler part and went to move pan but forgot that it just came out of oven and grabbed it without mits. Ouch!! Burnt both hands. Not good. Rae helped with lavender oil to ease the burn.

914p I’m crashing early tonight. I hurt all over. Rt hip throbbing intensely. Chest hurts. Exhausted. Going to bed. Head hurts. Eyes hurt. Sharp pain in rt side.

June 13

715 woke from bad dream to whole body hurting and back in extreme pain. Strange dream.

Rt elbow throbbing. Nose congested. Extreme thirst. Chest/ collar bones hurting. Headache. Hands throbbing.

800 lft arm & hand gping numb. Legs throbbing. It hurts to move.

845 picking up fresh corn on the cob. Answer to thought prayer. Yay!

1030 Rae decided she wanted homemade lasagna for her Spiritual Birthday Dinner and for me to shew her how to make it. Proud mamma moment.

1050 Apparently my throat is swollen because a vitamin got stuck in my throat. It caused me to puke it up. Throat hurts now but I’ll be okay.

Chest hurts. Low back throbbing. Headache. Hands ache. Exhausted. Legs hurt. Feet ache. Toes tingling. Congested.

June 10

530 woke feeling like I just fell asleep. Exhausted.

730 woke again apparently I fell back to sleep. Whole body aches horribly.

929p muscles in arms are spasming

Whole body aches. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Upper back stinging. Brain hurts and feels overworked it hurts. Headache. Hands throbbing burn. Exhausted. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with minor numbness. Feet ache with tingling. Sore still on neck. Trying colloidal silver. Sinuses congested. Rt hip throbbing with stinging pain down hip to upper thigh. Skin itchy.

Took night meds. Forgot to take morning meds. Took capful of colloidal silver in 4oz water.

Muscles randomly spasming thru body.

June 11

730 invited to come and swim in pool for couple hours. Fun

815 stopped at DG for few minutes to get lemon juice for canning tomato sauce. Car won’t start! I pray. We turn off everything. Check oil. Check battery cables. Shift column. Text Joe. Call Mom. Answer Joe’s call. As. I’m on phone with him I try again. Car starts. Thank you Jesus! Recv text from mom. Oh, I need to call Mom to let them know.

820a Now home.

Tummy hurts bad. Nerves sting. Headache. Able to try to ignore pain to get dinner in slow cooker. Add finishing ingredients to tomatoe sauce. Rae takes over finishing dinner in crockpot so I can start working on finishing balancing checkbook.

1030 finally got checkbook balanced. Head swirling & brain hurts. Had to use excel to help me figure out where I was going wrong. Prayed several times for help too. I no longer look forward to balancing checkbook. Ugh!

Jordon called. He’s finished with job. Told him we’d be there in half hour.

1100a Swim time. Yay!  Feels so good on my muscles. Kids have fun too.

300 suddenly exhausted. crashed on chair in livingroom.

330 unexpected call from Joe. Jakob car broken. Need to call insurance company for tow. Ugh. I don’t know what’s going on. Jakob calls. Tell him to call insurance company for roadside assistance so he can give address to where’s he’s at. I don’t remember what port he’s at today. Suppose to be getting ready for church.

850 nerves stinging. Bad headache. St hip cramping. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Neck hurts.

1100p Whole body aches. Center chest aching. Chilly. Low back & rt side cramping. Rt hip really throbbing.

June 8

530 woke to bad headache, skin itching all over, stinging needle pain thru body, stuffy nose, rt hip throbbing.

Chose to read my Bible & devotions. Praying.

643 eyes getting heavy gping to close the for bout an hour them get up.

700a woke to migraine. Ugh! Taking rx. Have few things to do and finish looking over testimony before we leave. Oh, wait. I almost forgot I need to pack. That might be important.

1030 as I began looking over my testimony I had penned down tears began to flood my eyes. I don’t feel worthy to be called upon to do so. I pray Christ may be glorified not me. I stop and pray a while. I struggle with some details whether to include or not. God give me wisdom to say just what You want me to say.

130 heading to MS for the Jubilee. We head into winds and heavy rains. I feel my anxiety levels raising and my body tenses. I pray and ask God to help. Tears come into my eyes. We are safe.

230 we arrive safe to the hotel. They let us check in early. The lady in front of us tells desk clerk they have to stay because their house was hit by lightning and they lost a lot. It takes me moments to register what’s being said. I reach to my purse to give her a tract but realize I’ve already given my last one out and need to refill. It upsets me so and before I can recompose myself she’s gone. I hate missed opportunities. Lord, help me to be better.

1057 thoroughly enjoyed the singing. I recalled most of the songs and quietly sang along what I recalled. The mind is truly a miraculous muscle of God’s creation. I’m encouraged to keep serving God faithfully. Don’t quit. Pray more.

It’s been a full day. I am exhausted. Nerves are stinging thru body. Muscles in rt eye twitching. Hands swollen and throbbing. Skin itchy (probably nerves). Lft hand numb & tingly. Center of chest hurts. Rt hip & low back throbbing. Lft ankle & foot tingly. Toes tingly. Low back throbbing. Headache but not as bad as this morning. Stuffy nose. Tongue feels swollen & burned (I did drink a cup of coffee before service to keep me awake during services. I try not to drink caffiene much as it make my nerves jittery).

Will pray a while before dozing off to sleep. Need good night’s rest for tomorrow.

Night meds taken.

1142 prayed a while. Still awake.

Forgot the melatonin. Wondering if Benadryl will work. Took 1/2 pill. Fell asleep after midnight sometime.

June 9

1110 been a long busy wonderful day.

Woke nauceous to my stomach and nerves jittery. Knew it was just nerves. Cried already before morning services.

Able to give my lightning strike testimony for first time publicly. I was quite nervous but God held my hand and helped me. Several people thanked me for sharing my testimony and it was a blessing to them. Thank you, Lord.

Joe had kids record it on Facebook and YouTube. Facebook post already has 228 views. To God be the glory!

I’m in a lot of pain now as I lay in bed. Headache. Low back, tailbone, & rt hip seriously throbbing. Hands throbbing. Back stinging. Ankles, feet, & toes tingling.

June 5

930a Joe & Jordon got pick up sound equipment stuff being donated to church.

1030 We took Jordon to PCC for tour.

300p It was nice but not what I was hoping for…still have questions.

I’m tired and wore out. Calves burning. Brain hur5s. Headache. Neck hurts. Muscles tight. Hands throbbing and burn a little. Low back throbbing.

Recvd unexpected blessings. 6pc necklace & bakers rack for cooling bake goods. Dad surprised me and said they talked about it and I only owe $50 more on car. Yay!

Middle of back sting throbbing. Lights bothersome. Headache worsens. Sinuses congested. Rt hip stabbing pain. Ankles, feet, & toes tingly and throbbing with some numbness. Exhausted. Center of chest throbbing pain. Eyes watering.

 

June 6

700a woke in horrible pain. Headache. Muscles cramping/ spasming randomly thru body. Hands throbbing.

Joe kindly without my asking chose to give me massage with pain relief massage oil. It felt good though I have some very painful spots.

1230 have to lay down a piece. I’m wore out, exhausted, and hurting all over

445 this tropical storm Cristobal weather is not being nice to me. It causes much pain.

1020 I’m in much more pain. Muscles are stinging thru my body. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling. Low back & rt hip throbbing.

Hurting this bad makes it difficult to move or be motivated to do anything. Makes me very lethargic. Headache is bad. Tummy hurts. Bright lights bothersome. Bad tinny taste in mouth.

1040 yawned and lft side of neck cramped up.

Night meds taken plus pain rx & melatonin. Checked drug interaction checker first on webmd.

June 7

530 woke from strange dream. Much pain from head to toes. Rt hand and elbow swollen and throbbing like tennis elbow. Low back throbbing. Deep sharp stinging pain thru body.

730 fell back to sleep and over slept. I hate oversleeping.

900 in much pain & very grumpy

1120 my focus and brain are very off today. Messed up miserably playing piano. Couldn’t focus. Took my binder and put on top of piano to block view of people on platform. Eyes & ears kept wanting to chase movement & sounds around me. No one doing anything wrong…just couldn’t. Did better as long as binder was up. Brain hurting. Brain feels like it’s falling apart.

1215 Rae offered to help with lunch. I chose to lay down. Fell asleep on Pew (which is something I don’t normally do because it’s so uncomfortable for me). Woken to eat lunch.

1257 laying down in nursery.

400 Joe came in to gently wake me up.

0600 Joe graciously excused me from playing piano tonight. Feeling some better but still in a lot of pain.

730 turned to lft and lft side especially under ribs started cramping horribly.

1000 going to bed. Still raining pretty heavy outside with periodic gusts of wind. Reporting is 1700 without power in our area. So far we still have power. Thank you, Lord. Praying for safety for our people and ourselves.

Noticed a strange looking lump on lft forearm

June 3 

0500a woke with knot feeling in low rt back. Arms throbbing. Hands stinging. Eyes watering. Sinus congested. Full of mucus making me feel a bit nauceous. Whole body sore all over. Hurts to move. Strange dream but I can’t make it out pictures in mind moving too fast to focus on any one item.

650 stinging needle pain thru body. Headache increases. Need to get more thyme for tea.

700 power flickered and just heard thunder. Body tensed and tummy hurting. Tummy tore up.

945 went with Mom & kids to go shopping. Couple trips to restroom. Ugh. Had to sit few times thru store.

125 stinging from neck to toes. Eating lunch & resting a while.

400 Need to run to store to get ingredients for making pickles. Trouble finding ingredients. Tummy troubles. Brain is hurting. Headache.

535 home again. Laying down a piece bc my head is pounding. Hands stinging. Calves burning. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Rt eye twitching. Neck throbbing.

Applying ice to back of neck.

730 began working on making bread and butter pickles.

900 just finished slicing pickles and onions. Realized midstream that I was trying to put up the field peas first. Water boiling on stove. Needed to finish that first. Ugh! Having trouble thinking straight.

Realized I have to refrigerate the pickles for at least three hours first. Not finishing them tonight. I’m exhausted and won’t do any good trying to force myself. Will pick back up tomorrow sometime.

Going to bed. Headache worsening again. Trying to do too much is not healthy for me. Look forward to a day I can just rest. Too much going on since this covid junk started.

June 4

530a wow it’s early. Slept pretty good last night. Strange dream…I’m somewhere running searching to find something important. I’m wore out as if I actually was running.

Whole body aches all over. Bad headache. Drinking cup of thyme & peppermint tea.

650 just thought oh I can finish canning pickles this morning before we go.

840 going to pick more veggies then get to go swimming/wading in pool.

1000 having to stop and rest a bunch today. Back not able to handle bending over yet. It hurts so bad I can hardly bare it. The more I pick the worse my body hurts.

1200 the pool felt wonderful on my muscles. Helped eased the pain.

730 trouble focusing. Headache. Whole body hurts. Hands & wrists swollen and throbbing. Feet throbbing.
