515 woke suddenly and immediately thought I had overslept.

Got up to use restroom. Lft foot felt like I stepped on broken glass. Ouch! Lights bright . It takes me a long time to adjust to the lights in the morning.
Sinuses severely congested. Took Tylenol sinus.

Feeling weak and drained of energy.
Helping Dezirae study for tests and quizzes today. Shared scripture and prayed with her before she left.
Joe decided to smoke a brisket for lunch today to have a small birthday lunch before Dezirae and I leave for the Ladies Conference. He chose today because Jordon has to work tomorrow. I truly have the best husband ever .
Washed load clothes. Packed bag for trip 3/4 of way. I’m exhausted. Laying down for 30 minutes to rest.
Headache. Nerves stinging mildly (I’m not even sure how to rate the chronic nerve pain).
If using the 0-10 Scale of Pain Severity, my current stinging pain is a 4/5. I’m so used to having daily pain now that my scale rating varies differently from that of medical professionals.

My arms are wore out and burning from packing and folding load of clothes. Need to sit and rest a bit.
Joe & Jordon cooked a delicious lunch – smoked pork roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I’m quite full and satisfied. Thank you, Lord, for my family.
1255 I think I’m all packed but I feel like I’m forgetting something. Nails touched up – Dezirae had to help bc I wasn’t quite doing it right. I’ll get it eventually. Need to rest a few minutes.
200 enjoyed the ride over. Able to talk with Mom about memories that are starting to come alive in my mind. Helped to fit some of pieces together and separate others. Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Niagra Falls
300 arrived at hotel. Couldn’t get in. Asked cleaning lady for help. She got the hotel manager who in turn contacted maintenance to come check the door. Switch inside door broken. Waiting on maintenance to fix the door. Pool closed indefinitely.
455 decided to order pizza to be delivered to our room later.
500 later as we headed to check in to report issues in room (faucet constantly dripping and nail sticking up in floor which my foot found) we discovered that our room keys weren’t working. Ugh. Apparently they were changing sifts bc the lady that checked us in said the other lady would be right with us. It took her 5 minutes or so to address up bc she was taking her time trying to put on vinyl gloves. I think she may be allergic to the powder inside them bc I watched her take a wipe to wipe the inside of the glove out before putting them on.
550 Pastor Crane got excited when he saw us. He said he was hoping I would be able to make it. Told him I was looking forward to it. Thought it was funny that Pastor Crane was bragging on me and my family to my mom and Edith. I then remembered oh I forgot to introduce them. I introduced them Pastor Crane. He told them we were keepers. As we were walking away, my mom said I hope they’re keepers because they’re family. Who in their right mind would throw away their family? I chuckled inwardly.
Bumped into Rebecca Henderson on way to register. She asked if I remembered her. I recalled her face straightway and knew we were friends on Facebook. Before I could get her name out, she told me. We hugged. It’s good to see her.
640 Mrs Crane called the Pastor’s wives to come forward to introduce themselves. I thought we were to just stand in front of steps but all the other ladies were climbing the steps. I said quick prayer, “Oh, Lord, please don’t let me make a spectacle of myself”. Once I got to the front, I told Mrs Crane that I needed help up the steps. She said I could just stay on bottom. I told her no I just need help. Two other pastor’s wives helped grab my arms, and I was able to make it up without incident. I finally learned Pastor Carr’s wife’s name (I momentarily forgot it though). I was so nervous about getting up the steps I was literally shaking the whole time I was up there. By the time they got to me, I forgot instructions of how I was to introduce myself. Hesitated a moment, stuttered while speaking, but got through it. Two ladies helped me down and helped grab the goodie bag we were given. Down stairs without incident. Thank the Lord.
730 during meal break, got separated from Dezirae. Told ladies that. . .
900 enjoyed the mtg. Everything looks spectacular. Theme: Stir Up the Gift. I won a door prize but I’m thinking about sharing with one of the ladies instead.
Challenges so far: Stir up the gift God has given you as an individual and use it for the Lord. Friendship – it’s the key to all relationships.
930 barely made it to our room on time. Mtg went late and we had to duck out early. Should’ve listened to Dezirae had had it delivered a little later.
Headache. Whole body tingly. Tired but awake. Sore.
1000 maintenance guy never showed back up.

Whole body aches and tingling. Sinuses congested. Feel like I broke a fever. Eyes watery. Slight headache. Arms ache like I was in a fight. Tired.

830 I see Paige and a memory floods to mind. Her husband likes homemade braided bread? Greek festival? I need to ask her to help with squaring the memory up. It’s amazing the memories that are starting to flood my mind.
910 As I’m walking into auditorium, I vaguely hear something about a birthday. I wonder what they’re talking about. Next thing I know a bunch of ladies are pointing at me. I’m wondering what’s going on? Oh, my. They’re all going to song Happy Birthday. Dezirae immediately states I didn’t do it. Lol.
Lunch at mugshots. Home by 3pm. Joe had house cleaned up when I got me. Sat telling him all about my weekend. Told him I figured during the sessions that we have a special marriage because we enjoy each other’s company and desire to be together. He agreed and said a lot of couple can’t do what we do. That’s a sad commentary amongst Christian couples.
Joe and Dezirae made dinner,: homemade calzones and Pineapple Angle Food Cake. Simple and light.
1000 I’m exhausted. Haven’t gotten much sleep in last couple days. Eyes watery. Sinuses slightly congested. Feet cold. Whole body aches and is tingly.
