LS & BC Health Memoirs – February 18-19, 2022

February 18

530 slept hard. Strange dream

Woke with a headache. Both arms and hands numbish and tingling. Whole body stiff and hurting. Wobbly on feet has to hold bed to go to restroom. Hot. Sinuses congested.

Leviticus 16-18;

800 taking kids today to check out PCC. Jordon is thinking about attending there in fall.

845 Jaelen was our tour guide. We knew her Grandpa, Chester Keith.

Met several other people that we knew throughout the day.

1200p standing in line for the bathroom. I come to the realization that I’m probably twice as old as most of the gals in the bathroom. Lol.

Decided to sit in on classes. Joe & Jordon went to OT Survey. Rae & I went to Teaching Reading. Joe & Jordon met one of the directors and talked with him for a bit. He in turn introduced us to one of the Bible professors. Joe & Jordon decided to sit in on his 2 o’clock class while Rae and I were to cat so I could rest a while.

I’m feeling all the extra activity and walking. I’ve ba headache, nerves are burning, and my body hurts as if I’ve ran a marathon without training for it. 😅🥺

3:15 decided to check the commons area out. Rae wanted to check the bookstore out.

You know your husband is a Pastor when…You see college students playing “football” in the commons area, but their football isn’t in very good shape. 🤣 Sooo.. your husband decides to make them a proper football and then he has to show them how to play it. Lol🤣🤣🤣

6:00 met Isaac and his girlfriend for dinner. Learned we had met his girlfriend earlier in the teaching reading class. Neat. Enjoyed the fellowship.

Stop at Buckees on way home.

Once home I went straight to bed. The longer I lay still the worse I’m hurting. Pain level about a 7 and slowly increasing.

Took night vitamins plus pain Rx, .5 benadryl, and colloidal silver.

Thankful for:

1. Enjoyable family day

2. Reconnecting with old friends and new ones too

February 19

800 I’m in so much pain I want to cry myself to sleep 😭 Pain level a 9/10. I won’t go to the hospital.

Song on mind: He lives in me

I’m just going to lay in bed for a while.

Leviticus 19-21

Joe graciously offers to rub me down with pain rub.

While I enjoy it because it does help relax my muscles, it hurts significantly. Tears leak from eyes. Joe tells me that he knew I would be in a lot of pain today and determined he’d be doing this for me today. Brownie points♥️.

Eventually muster up enough energy to get up. A bit dizzy and it hurts like walking on broken glass, but as I move around slowly the pain begins to ease some. Pain level now around 7.

Not up to doing much today.

Takes me all day to get bulletin done for tomorrow. Finish about 8:45 pm.

1000p I’m exhausted and sleepy. Whole body aches. Eyes hurt. Chest center aches. Hands swollen and throbbing. Nerves stinging. Low back throbbing. Legs throbbing and stinging. Feet tingling and chilly even with socks on feet all day. Periodic ringing in ears intermittently throughout the day. Vision blurry.

Thankful for…

1. My family

2. Be able to relax some
