6:00 woke to strange taste in mouth and thirsty. Left arm very sore and aching. Tired. Cold.
Psalm 119:1-88; James 1:19-20
Teen Car Wash today at church. It was slow going, but they were able to raise almost enough for one teen to go to camp. Also, had a guy and his son installing carpet in bedrooms and living room in parsonage. It took them longer than we expected, but I think it’s worth it.
I think we’re all wore out. Came home and fell asleep for couple hours.
Canned 4 quarts and 4 pints of squash and zucchini mix. Cooked potatoes and eggs for Monday’s get together. Fried green tomatoes, squash, and zucchini for dinner. Finished bulletin around 11pm. I’m exhausted.
Slight headache. Chest very sore. Nerves stinging with periodic sharp jabs. Muscles ache deeply. Skin itchy. Slight headache. Low back throbbing immensely. Ski sensitive to touch. Muscles periodically and randomly spasming in legs.
Managed to take all my meds and vitamins today. Juice regimen a tad different today bcuz I’m out of carrots. Took Tylenol for headache.
Thankful for…
1. Decent car wash results.
2. God’s provision of veggies
3. Joe helping me cube the potatoes when I asked for help.

6:00 woke to immense pain in body. Got up to use restroom and lost balance. Caught Joe’s foot and held on momentarily till I regained balance. Took a minute or so. I think 11,000 steps in a day are too much for this body presently.
Song on mind: ♫ God on the Mountain ♫
Think of Thanny and his Mom and begin praying for them. I know how they must be feeling bcuz I’m facing same decisions and don’t want to but in my heart I know I need to. My eyes fill with tears bcuz Thanny is much younger than I. I cry to God to heal Thanny and comfort his Momma’s heart. I can’t imagine how heart broken the rest of his family is bcuz they are countries apart. I pray for them and ask God to help them be reunited again soon.
I feel led to send Thanny’s Mom an encouraging message. It takes me at least 30 minutes to compose it. I read it to Joe to make sure it sounds okay.
Moments later she replies thanking me for my message. My heart is happy that God used me to be an encouragement.
Joe is sensitive to the pain I’m in and gives me a massage with the essential oils pain rub. It helps a little.
Need to get ready for the day. Steak with gravy in crockpot. Pack instant potatoes. Will put carrots in crockpot at church.
Feet are freezing. I put socks on.
1 Kings 3-4; 2 Chronicles 1; Psalm 72; Psalm 103:17-18;
Need to decorate for the service today. It’s Memorial Day – a time to remember our fallen heroes and their families. They have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Chris came today. His mom just overcame cancer. He’s been telling her about me. She wasn’t feeling too well today, but sent word that I can call her any time to ask questions.
I went to office to copy hymn for special music today and overheard him telling the men that his mom didn’t do so well with the radiation. They ended up using a special colloidal cream and it helped a lot. I need to find out about that. The more I research the more I do not want the radiation. Side effects are deep bone pain.
Feet are still freezing. I don’t understand why.
2:00 get told to go lay down. I don’t complain bcuz I’m exhausted.

I crash quickly while listening to wholetones music. Slept for about 45 minutes.
Decided to get up and finish counting snack supplies we had donated so far. Made list for snack coordinator and will give it to her tonight. When I went to check the freezer to count the slushies found bunch of ice collecting so I naturally had to clean it out. Joe came to check what the noise was. I told him someone has to do it. He shook his head.
Jordon reminded me I was supposed to be hemming his pants for the wedding. Ugh I can’t believe I forgot. Got them set to start hemming, but will have to finish them at home.
Joe wanted us to check the carpet installation out. The guy did a very good job. I am well pleased. Now to clean up the debris on floor, patch walls, and paint. Then we can start putting rooms back together.
Choir practice went well. I actually played a new (haven’t played in a long time) hymn impromptu.
Feet finally warmed up to point I can take socks off. I’m hot now.
While resting, decided to look at the subjects that I’ve jotted down for next month’s scripture journaling. Initially thought it was going to be the seven things that Bro Waddington preached about last Sunday, but God directed otherwise. I’m excited to see how the subject will develop.
Periodic muscle spasms sporadically in legs. Muscles in side cramped bad when I turned wrong. Took a bit to ease up. Trouble with belching today – not sure what that signifies.
I have a spot on edge of my right hand that keeps growing excess skin and I keep peeling it. Not sure if that’s good, but I think I’ll try the baking soda paste method to help. Spot on neck is looking better.
