Great is Thy Faithfulness – Pam Biter
Lam 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
I am so thankful for God’s faithfulness.
As I sit here today waiting to have knee surgery in two weeks, I have a confidence because of knowing that God will take care of me. I am reminded of the verse
1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Through the years I have seen God’s hand in my life.
And in our family we have seen God taking care of us as we have served Him.
The journey sometimes was rough and difficult but I always knew that God was faithful.
When I could not see how something was going to work out, I knew that God knew.
God has promised us that He will take care of us but also He will never leave us.
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Now here are a some things that will help you to see God’s faithfulness in your life.
First of all, Read Your Bible. To know someone you must spend time with them.
We can spend time with God by studying and reading our Bibles. When you read it, don’t read it like a history book, but read it as a love letter from God to you.
Secondly, Obey what you read. It is vital to find out what God wants in our life.
The Bible is also an instruction book, telling us what God wants from us.
2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Thirdly, may God use us to be faithful too.
God often times has put people in my life that were faithful to God and gave me good advice and were a great blessing in my life.
I too, want to be faithful to God and be a blessing to others.
As I grow older, I look back on my life and see all the times that God has been faithful and how He has used other people in my life.
May we all be thankful for God’s faithfulness in our lives, and may we be faithful to Him.
