Leaving A Legacy of Faith

Good morning ๐ŸŒž

It’s a great day to be thankful and find joy in the Lord. Praying that you have a spectacular Sunday on purpose!!! ๐ŸŒบ

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. Psalm 145:4

This verse holds deep meaning for me as we just dropped our daughter off at the WILDs, a Christian camp in the North Carolina mountains, where sheโ€™ll serve as a counselor this summer. As parents, we’ve tried to raise our children in the Lord, and now she has the chance to influence others for Christ.

My heart is fullโ€”grateful, yet emotional. Sheโ€™s never been away this long, and after walking closely with me through my recovery from a lightning strike, our bond is strong. Still, Iโ€™m excited for the thousands of campers she and others will minister to this summer.

Each life we touch is a chance to plant seeds of faith. God calls us to shape the next generation through our exampleโ€”whether as parents, mentors, or faithful believers. Our daily walk, our prayers, our responses in trialsโ€”they speak louder than words.

God doesnโ€™t ask for perfectionโ€”just faithfulness. When we invest in others with love and truth, we leave a legacy that points to Him and echoes into eternity.

As we serve our families and churches today let’s remember to live a life that points others to Christ, especially those who will come after us. May our words, actions, and choices reflect Christ’s love and truth. May He use us to influence the next generation for His glory.

P.S. If you know a pastor’s wife, missionary wife, or any woman in ministry who could benefit from weekly encouragement, please feel free to share this with her.
