Joy in the Trial

James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience

James calls us to “count it all joy” in trials, not because they’re easy, but because God uses them to grow our faith. These past days, it’s been hard watching my Dad slowly slip into eternity. Yet even in the sorrow, I’m grateful for the Christian legacy he’s passed on—not only in my life and family, but in the lives of countless others.

Christ understands our pain—He was weary, rejected, and tempted, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). We can trust His loving hand; He allows nothing beyond what His grace will carry us through.

Prayer: Lord, help me trust You in trials, knowing You are shaping me and using even this for Your glory.

Praying you have a superb Sunday on purpose—filled with joy, rest, and God’s blessings! 💛🙌🌺
