5:00 woke with piercing headache from center of brain outward. Nose stuffed. Mouth dry. Thirsty. Whole body hurts. Eventually fell back to sleep. Nose slightly bloody.
6:40 alarm rings. I don’t want to get up.

Learned a previous coworker was just diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer which metastasized to her liver. My heart and prayers go out to her and her family.
Bank run to deposit insurance check. Bank places hold on large deposits. It won’t be available until after. Frustrating. Jordon won’t get his car back today.
Thrift Store run. No hangers. Joe found a lunch box for work and an orange hunting cap. Short trip wore me out. Home to rest.
A couple friends texted to check on me. One friend texted me to let me know she was thinking of me and was going to drop off dinner for us tonight. It was an encouragement.
Decided to make cookies.
Jordon needed help with getting classes set. Something about an error code. Able to help fix some of his schedule, but couldn’t fix the error. Phone call made. Didn’t get anywhere except scheduling online appointment with Academic Advisor on Monday for virtual meeting? Don’t know how that’s going to work because my computer doesn’t have speakers. This is all Greek to me. I don’t understand. Gave myself a headache working on it. Had to walk away after a bit.
Head pounding. Lights bothersome. Neck hurts. Eyes watery. At one point, my left eye felt like I had broken shards of glass at left corner which hurt fiercely. Periodic tingling in arms and hands. Hands and wrists swollen and throbbing. Low back throbbing. Legs ache. Feet stinging throbbing. Stomach hurts.
Snacked on frozen fruit tonight. Pineapple not only tastes horrible to me, but it also burned my tongue. Slit it out. Tummy starting to hurt.
Exercising is important for your health. Thirty minutes a day. I haven’t been able to exercise due to physical challenges and balance issues. I’m going to ask my oncologist at next visit for help in this area at my next visit.

August 20
7:00 woke to several of my muscles inside torso spasming/twitching at same time. Felt weird. Could feel heat pounding throughout body. Exhausted and feel like I was beat up. Headache. Lights bothersome.
Joe rubbing my back and head. He seems a little clingy this morning but I’m not going to complain.
Joe later tells me that he had a dream that I died and it scared him. I told him I was sorry. He said you’re still here and that makes me happy.

Dezirae is going to the PCC Coastal Kickoff today. Our church didn’t have enough teens going so she’s going with CBC. Joe took Dezirae and her cousins to drop them off. Guys then ran an errand.
I was cleaning up the kitchen and didn’t hear them come home. Joe started to ask a question right behind me and scared the screams out of me!!! Lol.
Later I was placing an order for church and lightning struck nearby. It was so loud I screamed. Joe told me to get off the computer. I happily obliged after I printed the receipt.
2:00 I almost forgot about typing up the bulletin for tomorrow. Guess I better get busy.
3:00 laying down for a bit as I’m exhausted and cold. Joe went to church to work and study for few hours.
5:00 need to start cooking dinner. I don’t really feel like it, but I’m looking forward to eating the sweet potato. At least it will be just Joe and I for dinner.
Got really hungry about an hour after dinner. Snacked on cottage cheese and peaches. Ate ice cream sandwich. Drank water.
11:00 nails painted, bulletins printed, meat chosen for lunch tomorrow, dishwasher loaded and running, load of clothes in dryer. I was trying to wait up for Jordon, but I’m too tired. I’ll send him a text. Pm vitamins taken.
Whole body throbbing. Slight headache. Neck hurts. Legs ache deeply. Nerves stinging. Tingling in hands and feet. Exhausted and tired, but awake.
Thankful for….
- Mom sending over cups of chopped ice
- Joe washing brunch dishes
- Able to do a manicure and pedicure so my nails look good for church
- Dezirae had a good time today.
