🌿 “Well Done, Thou Good and Faithful Servant” 🌿
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Every believer longs to hear these words from the Lord at the end of life’s journey: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Faithfulness is not measured by the size of our assignment but by the sincerity of our obedience. God calls us to be steadfast in the little things—serving quietly, loving faithfully, and standing firm in trials.
My father strived for this mastery, faithfully serving Christ while here on earth. This past Thursday, he entered heaven’s gates, and I know he heard those desired words: “Well done.” What peace and joy it brings to know he now rests in the presence of His Lord.
May we, too, live each day with the same devotion, longing to glorify Christ in all we do. One day, those who have been faithful in the unnoticed, everyday moments will step into eternity and hear their Master’s commendation.
Today, let us renew our commitment to be faithful, not seeking applause or recognition, but longing only to bring glory to the One who is worthy.
