Don’t Give Anger a Home
Ephesians 4:26-27
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
These verses remind us that anger itself isn’t sin, but holding onto it opens the door for the devil. Even the smallest foothold can grow into a stronghold that harms our walk with God.
Like Martin Luther said, “You cannot stop birds from flying overhead, but you can keep them from building a nest.” In the same way, we can’t always prevent anger or temptation, but we can refuse to let them take root. Deal with anger quickly, choose forgiveness, and give the devil no room.
