This hymn calls believers to stand firm and courageous in their faith. We are reminded to remain on the firing line—boldly resisting every force of evil that rises against us.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

1. If you’re in the battle for the Lord and right,
Keep on the firing line;

There are many dangers that we all must face,
