Faith, Courage, and Healing: Walking a 5K After Trauma

✨ Today’s the day! ✨

I’m attempting to walk a 5K — a brand-new milestone in my health journey as I continue recovering from the lightning-strike injuries and navigating life after beating breast cancer two years ago. 💗⚡

I’m excited… and honestly, a little nervous. But for me, this isn’t about perfection, speed, or keeping up with anyone else. It’s about moving forward, one determined step at a time. It’s about showing that even with chronic pain and long-term challenges, goals — big or small — are still possible. 💪🌿

I’m not just a survivor — I choose to overcome. I’m simply a cracked vessel mending by God’s grace, and if today’s steps shine His light and encourage even one person to keep going, then every step is worth it. ✨

On top of that, I’m walking in support of my nephew and helping raise funds for the athletic department at his school, Lighthouse Baptist Academy. 🏃‍♀️💖 Every step is not only a milestone in my own journey but also a way to cheer him on and support his team!

Here’s to courage, grace, healing, and keeping God at the center as I keep moving forward with every step. 🩷
