Hello, beautiful! Just a reminder today that your quiet strength, faithful love, and steadfast support do not go unseen. God is using you in powerful ways—both in your home and in your church. Even on the days when the load feels heavy, remember: you are called, you are equipped, and you are deeply appreciated. Keep shining His light—you’re making more of a difference than you know.
Stand Firm in Faith
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:8-10
Peter reminds us to stay alert—our enemy is real and persistent, prowling like a lion seeking to devour. Yet even in suffering, God promises to restore, strengthen, and establish us. Trials are temporary, but His grace is eternal. We are not alone; others have faced similar struggles, and God remains faithful.
Consider Corrie ten Boom, a Dutch Christian who helped hide Jews during World War II. She endured imprisonment and hardship yet remained steadfast in faith, trusting God, forgiving her captors, and sharing His hope.
Like Corrie, we may face situations that test our patience or faith—conflict at work, relational struggles, or personal loss. By standing firm in faith and trusting God to strengthen and guide us, we can navigate trials with courage and grace, knowing He is preparing us for His glory.
Challenge: Identify a trial you’re facing today and ask God to help you stand firm, trusting Him to strengthen and settle you.
Gratitude Moment: Thank God for His faithfulness and the strength He gives to face every trial.
Praying your Sunday is filled with God’s presence and purpose!
