Ready to Give 🕊️

Good morning!🌞

What a blessing it is to be able to gather in the Lord’s house today. May God meet you with His peace, His presence, and His joy as we worship Him. Let’s expect great things from the Lord this morning. ❤️

Ready to Give 🕊️

That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 1 Timothy 6:18 KJV

1 Timothy 6:18 teaches us what a generous life looks like. Paul invites us to be “rich in good works” and ready to give. True richness isn’t found in what we keep. It is found in what we share. When we give with open hands, we reflect the heart of Christ.

Being ready to give doesn’t only mean money. It can be time, compassion, or a listening ear. God may call us to encourage someone, meet a need, or offer comfort. When we say yes, we partner with what God is doing.

How We Live “Ready to Give” Every Day

Being ready to give is a lifestyle that grows over time. 1 Timothy 6:18 shows that God is not only asking us to give; He is shaping our hearts to become generous. When we allow Him to work within us, our willingness to give becomes an overflow of His kindness in us.

Sometimes being ready to give means offering a word of encouragement. Other times it may be a prayer for someone who is hurting. It can be a meal, a helping hand, or simply listening to someone who needs to talk. Every act of love matters. God uses each one.

Generosity Is More Than Money

A generous life isn’t measured by what we own, but by how we share what God has given us. Even if we do not feel like we have much, God can multiply what we offer. Our time, our compassion, and our words can make a lasting difference. When we live ready to give, we join God in blessing others.

A heart that is ready to give reflects the heart of Christ.

This  reminds us that living ready to give is a calling that grows from our faith in Christ and our desire to serve others with love.

A Prayer for a Generous Heart:

Lord, make my heart ready to give. Show me where to serve. Help me see the needs around me and respond with love. Use my hands, my words, and my life for Your glory. Amen.
