Life as a Christian—especially for ministry wives—often feels like a daily spiritual battle. Scripture makes it clear that this fight is real. There is moral truth, and there is an enemy who seeks to discourage and deceive. Yet Paul reminds us that we are not called to fight with human strength or worldly methods. The weapons God provides are spiritual, mighty, and capable of tearing down strongholds in our lives.
Strongholds often show up as patterns of thinking—fear, doubt, worry, or discouragement—that take root in our minds and hearts. These battles cannot be won through willpower alone. Thankfully, God has already given us the tools we need: prayer, faith, truth, and obedience to His Word.
Victory comes when we choose to engage in the battle using what God has supplied rather than relying on ourselves. As we submit our thoughts and lives to Him, His power works in us, dismantling what once seemed unbreakable. The strength to overcome does not come from us—it comes from the Lord who fights on our behalf.
