Good morning 🌞
Life is full of moments where the way forward is unclear. Decisions about family, work, ministry, and personal growth often come without a clear roadmap. In those moments, it is tempting to rely on feelings or human wisdom. However, God has given us something far more reliable—His Word.
🕯️Light for Each Step 👣
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
God never intended for His people to walk through life blindly. His Word does more than tell us His will—it guides us step by step through the darkness we face (see the verse in context on Blue Letter Bible).
A lamp does not light the entire road. It gives just enough light for the next step. In the same way, God’s Word gives wisdom for today. It helps us discern right from wrong, avoid danger, and choose a path that honors Him. Through the Spirit, His Word continues to direct both our choices and our actions.
Without Scripture, it is easy to walk unaware of where our steps may fall. We may stumble or wander off course without realizing it. But when God’s Word lights our way, we gain clarity and assurance. We are reminded that we are not walking alone. By trusting and obeying His Word, we find comfort, confidence, and steady guidance.
Challenge for the Week: Walk in the Light
This week, read God’s Word daily. Ask Him to show you one step of obedience each day, and apply what He reveals.
At the end of the week, reflect on how Scripture guided your decisions and brought clarity to your path.
Trust His Word—it is your lamp for today.
