Sept 17

500 woke with headache & feet freezing. Center back sharp stabbing pain radiates thru to front of chest. Hands swollen and throbbing.

718 washer only partially working. Won’t ring out clothes have to wring by hand…so painful but don’t want to get too too behind on laundry. Have to go rest quite a while afterwards. Dryer time increases as well.

Causes hands and arms much pain. Low back severely throbbing. Headache increases. Rt hip pain increases. Took 1 Excedrine Tension Headache tab. Tylenol not helping.

935a Rae & I worked in yard for about 30 minutes then had to take break. Trouble getting burn pit lit. Think debris is still too wet.

Rt lymph node and ear feel swollen. Rt ear hurts too.

1045a went back out in yard for 2nd pass. Could only work few minutes before pain was too much. Came back in to rest.

1230 Joe came home early today. Made tuna salad for lunch.

830p currently my rt ear is throbbing like toothache and feels like it’s on fire! Ear is bright red. Lower lobe swollen twice size. Rt eye leaking. Lymph node behind is swollen and hurting especially hurts to touch. Hearing not changed. Inside ear itches and hurts.

Good at giving advice to others but cannot remember what to do for earache. Called Mom. Says the hot part concerns her.

Took Naproxen. Sprayed couple drops of peroxide in ear and let it set til it stopped bubbling then let drain. Put ice pack on outer ear hoping it’ll reduce fire and pain.

Earaches

For earaches, dab one drop of lavender massage oil behind the ear and rub gently. Alternatively, place one drop of lavender oil on a cotton ball and carefully place inside the outer ear.

Called my friend, whose husband is a nurse. She know essential oils. They said to ice ear to numb ear, reduce, swelling and pain. Apply purification oil to back of ear. Also do lymph node drainage massage.

Worked in yard some with Dezirae to clean up debris in yard from Hurricane Sally.  Costochondritis is flaring up and it hurts. Ugh!

915 turned wrong and got Charlie horse cramp in rt side. Hollered and couldn’t move until it eased. I tired to move but couldn’t.

918 call from mom. Couldn’t answer

921 able to call her back. Shared info she found on internet.

Lymphatic drainage – greensmoothiegirl.com has good instructions how to do.

Could be ear infection or red ear syndrome stemming from migraine cluster headaches and spinal injuries.

945 tried to take night meds and choked on them. Almost choked them back hurt. Made throat hurt. Can feel it’s little swollen. Took about 10 min to get them down.

Sipped stress relief tea. Applied sleepy time lotion to legs and arms. Applied drop of lavender oil behind ear.

I’m tired, hurting, and exhausted. Going to try to get some sleep. Lights bright. Headache worsening. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with tingling to toes. Low back& rt hip hurts. Hands ache. Chest hurts.

Lord, I know many of my symptoms could point to corona. Please don’t let them jump gun. Calm their hearts and give wisdom to help properly.

Sept 18

430 woke from dizzy nightmare thinking I overslept. Alarm not set. Set alarm.

630a Joe told me to rest bc I’m not feeling good. Rt ear still hurts but not as bad as last night.

804 called Dr for apt. Nurse will call back.

1030 still haven’t heard from nurse. Calling. Spoke with desk nurse. Nurse tried calling but she called a wrong number. Waiting still to hear from nurse.

1038 nurse asked me to come in right away.

1100a Dr apt at 212 BP 111/70

Dr believes I have bad case of cellulitis (bacterial infection) on outer ear. Inner ear looks good. Called in strong antibiotic. Also call in different cream for ringworm on neck and lft arm.  Purification & Lavendar oil are helping reduce pain and swelling for ear.

Dr did ask how I’m handling other ailments. Told her about chiropractor treating gallbladder/liver channels. She was glad to hear I’m getting help. As for everything else, learning to adapt and manage best I can. Though storm days are unbearably tough. She agreed with barometric changes and all.

Picked up van from Landry to use while Puryears on mission trip. One month.

300p checking on LM. Debris everywhere. Rae able to clean house for her today. Her phone & cable out. Able to figure out way to contact cable company to report outage. No clue about phone co.

610 pharmacy/store closed early bc of curfew in place. It didn’t register till I tried to pick up rx. Will have to wait until tomorrow.

620 came home to cook dinner. Rae helped.

1054p I’m exhausted. Sides cramping horribly today. I hurt everywhere. Head itches. Skin itches. Congestion. Legs throbbing. Low back throbbing. Lower rt side spasming. Feet tingling.

Sept 19

630a woke from nightmare to upper torso to head and arms screaming in stinging pins and needles pain, night sweats, lower body aches, toes icy tingling sensation, headache, sinuses congested.

230 just found out that missionaries need mission house and are coming in tonight! I haven’t even been there since before Hurricane.

Joe surprised me with 24 roses. Very pretty color purple pink hue.

444 Joe & Dezirae helped tremendously. Thankfully we didn’t have to deal with mold just ants in freezer and a vacuum that quit working. I’m hurting from head to toe and exhausted.

530 rested few minutes before starting dinner. Joe came and helped me finish dinner so I could work on bulletins. I still forgot to buy legal paper.

1030 Center of chest stabbing pain – like I’m being stabbed with dull rusty knife. (That’s what description came to mind, but I’ve never been stabbed by a knife let alone a rusty one. Where did that description originate?) It hurts something awful nonetheless. Did maneuver to uncatch chest. Done too much today. Amazing how attempting to sweep a couple minutes can cause so much pain.

Headache, neck throbbing, upper shoulders throbbing, skin itchy, low back aches, sides cramping today. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness & tingling. Toes tingly. Hands achy. Arms pins & needles sensation. Lethargic yet awake. St elbow sharp stabbing pain. Lights bright. Skin sensitive – piece hair feels like sharp blade crossing skin. Rt ear hurts, swelling is coming down, burns periodically. Periodic face flushing and feeling hot today.

Sept 14

430 briefly woke to noise in hallway. Jordon using restroom

530 Joe woke me to inform me that Jordon was sick and to make Dr apt.

600 haven’t been able to fall back asleep. My whole body hurts. Woke to stinging pulsating pain in all my joints. Headache.

Jordon vomiting. Get up to check on him. Says he feels better since vomiting. May have had indigestion from pizza last night. Has headache. Had him take C, zinc, Echinacea, Tylenol Sinus & his gerd rx. Sent him back to bed with Gatorade. Can’t find thermometer. His head feels warm. Will call Dr at 8am when they open.

Meantime starting wash. Calling a day off from school for all of us to rest. Dezirae had sore throat Sat & Sun. She’s been taking C, zinc, & Echinacea regimen on her own.

730 resting myself. Tired, hurting, & headache. Tropical Storm Sally to hit today near LA/MS border. Will likely become Hurricane by landfall tonight. We are already getting some rain from it.

800a called Dr’s. Paranoid bc of corona. Silliness. Have to hang up and choose another option. Left msg. Nurse to call back.

900a Dr’s nurse called. Made virtual apt for 11:15a. Had to ask how to do it. Wrote instructions down after she repeated for me 2nd time.

1149 still haven’t heard from Dr. Called Dr’s office. Receptionist tried to make excuses. I persisted. Nurse got on line. Apologized for inconvenience. Said Dr will call after finish with next patient.

1208 finally got video call from Dr. She apologized for mix up. Asked bunch of questions. Believes it’s just allergies or virus but not covid. Calling in cough decongestant.

I’m starting to feel sleepy and lacking energy. Joints all still ache with headache.

1240 Rae & I go check on LM. She orders us lunch. While at her house Sally is upgraded to Hurricane 1 and has moved east more. People are panicking. Someone calls to tell LM and suggests she call her daughter to come get her. Dumb move. Daughter in more harms way than she is in her own home. Daughter calls 10 min later asks about evacuating her. Told her no need. We are not in flooding zone.

300p leave to go get few items at store before rains hit. Also get dinner to make it easier. I’m seriously lacking in energy. Legs getting wobbly. No wheelchairs available. Store is at capacity…almost had to wait to enter. I didn’t want to wait it was raining.

People need the Lord. I see them pass me by with fear in their eyes. I pray Lord save their souls. How do people live in such fear? No wonder they have such anxiety and diseases. I’m working on facing my giants one step at a time with the Lord’s help. The Lord is my refuge and He is my hope.

I like my middle name.

430 kids help secure yard. I need a nap. I’m craving mac n cheese but have no energy to make it. That’s good I think. I haven’t craved foods or anything for that matter since my LS. I’ve been craving pudding a lot this past week or two (don’t really remember how long). I’ve had no appetite and have often forgotten to eat. This is good.😊

1025p just realized one reason why I’m so lethargic – – I forgot to take my am meds. Ugh!

Whole body aches. Skin itches all over. Low back & right hip throbbing. Sinuses congested. Indigestion horrible. Hands throbbing. Skin hypersensitive – hair feels like sharp needles poking my skin. Joe’s arm feels like lead balloon. Lower Left leg tourniquet tightening feeling. Sharp pains in? lower rt tummy. Tummy hurts. Burping a lot today. Toes tingly. Center chest throbs. Lft eye leaketh periodically ( I’m not crying).

Night meds taken as well as naproxen. Nasal spray – 1 spray each nostril. Neck hurts.

 

Sept 15

130a woke to indigestion burning up my esophagus and into back of throat making me extremely nauceous. Got up apparently too fast to get to toilet making me dizzy room started spinning and I started to fall. Thankfully I was able to catch myself on the dresser. Ended up dry heaving only to vomit up phlegm.

Tried to lay back down only to have burning sensation climbing back up esophagus. Remembered that ginger helps. Tried to find purse in dark. Not where I usually keep it at night. Found it on bench next to bed. Got a chew out and dropped it. Couldn’t find it. Got another. Ginger chew burned back of throat at first but eventually calmed my stomach enough so I could fall back to sleep.

430 woke to a noise but couldn’t figure what it was.

800 morning alarm went off. My whole body is screaming in pain and I don’t want to move. Hurricane Sally needs to dissipate!

Joe compassionate enough to massage back with eo pain rub oil. It helped tale edge off.

1156p it’s been a long day. Hurricane Sally is keeping all the media guessing. Lol. First it was to hit LA/MS border then it shifted east to Gulf Port then Mobile, now supposedly Gulf Shores/ Pensacola area. Already lots of people out of power. We still have ours thankfully. Been raining most of day. Winds picking up. Tornado warning til 6am. Last word to make landfall by 4am.

Pain has been great thru whole body keeping my movement to minimum. Did couple chores here and there but had to rest awhile in between. Studied for next Bible study session.

Tired but pain keeping me awake. Used sleepy lotion. Night meds taken.

 

Sept 16

1240 still wide awake. Taking melatonin and tramadol

Muscles spasming/twitching in upper chest and leg. Headache. Much deep pain throughout body. Prayers for family and friends to stay safe.

300a woke to no power. Winds howling. In much pain mine eyes leaketh. Decided to pray for everyone that came to mind.

530am couldn’t get back to sleep. Laid in bed praying for everyone that came to mind.

Joe decided to look for the oil lamps – hidden in plain sight. Took me a bit too. Lol.

I didn’t even think about getting charcoal or lighter fluid.

Took me a while to be able to start moving. Bad weather affects me so.

1000a Joe decided to fire up grill. Scrambled eggs, toast, hot dogs, & chili. Taste pretty good. Joe warmed me up some hot water for tea. Drank Stress Relief Tea. It helped ease my nerve pain a little.

Started crashing after brunch laid down to take nap several times they day. Checked on our people several times they day. Everyone out of power until evening. Few people will be out of power for days.

Straightened up kitchen in between naps some. Played games with the kids. Had fun.

Had runs most of day. Probably from taking 2 heaping tsp of D.E..last night. We’ll see.

900 exhausted. Going to bed early. Joe back to work tomorrow.

Headache. Skin itches all over. Nerve pain through out moderately stinging. Tourniquet tightening feeling in lower lft leg with numbness and tingling in both legs and feet. Feet icy cold and stinging. Low back hurts. Eyes sensitive to light. Ears sensitive to loud sounds. Legs ache. Rt hip hurts/ sciatic pain. Muscles randomly spasming/ twitching thru body – currently in lower back. Chest center aches. Arms cramped playing uno & apples to apples. Hands swollen and stinging throbbing.

Sept 11

626a woke thinking I overslept. Strange dreams. Don’t make sense. Woke with headache.

Whole body aches. Hurts to move. Deep joint and muscle pain like a creeky old tin man who needs his joints oiled.

830 Dr Young said my symptoms this week all pointed to the gallbladder/liver channels. Acupuncture (2 in top of feet, 2 in side of calves, 2 in chest, 2 in underarms, 2 in back of neck). [GB-42, 35, 24, 22, 21] All points were very tender especially point in rt side just under chest.

Asked about digestive issues.. Told him yes. Constipation, indigestion, gerd. PCP has me on gerd rx. It’s okay. Don’t like having to take it. Told him I started probiotics to help. Good.

Said sometimes —- valve (leads smaller instestine into larger) gets into spans and they have to be worked out. Focused on my gallbladder/liver channel to help get things moving. Said if I start feeling queasy to drink lots of water and/or eat something to help.

Also gave me good adjustment. Massaged center of chest and adjusted. Said it helps with digestive issues.

900a needing to use restroom

907 eat breakfast (bowl of raisin bran). Joe makes omlet. I eat half.

958a gallbladder area is making gurgling noises

1000a feet getting chilly. Put socks on.

1100 feet continue to get more chilly.

1130 trying to learn info regarding gallbladder & liver channels.

500p Joe surprised me with a date. O’Charlies. Joe says he wants to “date” me more often. This is music to my ears. Stopped at Kohl’s to look for dress shirt for dad’s bday upcoming.

 

Been doing lots of burping and gas passing all day. I giggle bc I haven’t done this since before LS. This is good sign to me.

Rt ear aches. Head hurts. Rt hip intensely throbbing. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness and tingling. Hands swollen and throbbing. Skin itchy.

 

3 pm today and several times emptying bladder (felt like every time I turned around). Thought I peed a lot before but apparently not.

 

Sept 12

712 woke at 3am to use restroom. Woke in a sweat at 7am from strange dream. Whole body hurts as if beat up. Elbows throbbing intensely. Low back throbbing. Hands swollen and stinging. Legs ache. Feet hurt. Rt hip stongi.

830 family going to help Puryears load ship for their mission trip.

They were only able to load half the rice. Costco has other half held up in Atlanta for some reason. Earliest they can get here is Tuesday. That’s too late. Men scrambling to try find other sources for rice and beans. Ugh! Tropical Depression Sally headed to Gulf.

1230 Had to leave to get Jordon to work.

Once home, I got overly exhausted and felt like I was going to crash. Fell asleep for almost 3 hours. Tried to wake at 130 but just couldn’t. Joe gracious to take Jordon to work.

400p decided to make homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. Couldn’t remember all ingredients. Combined few different online recipes for my own. Chicken, 4 stalks celery, 3 carrots, 2 tsp minced garlic, 1/4 scallions, 1 tsp thyme, 6 cups chicken broth, 10 cups filtered water, 2 cups noodles, hymalayan salt to taste. While making dinner I paced in kitchen one such pass I kicked the bench sit hard. OUCH! my pinky & 2nd toes jammed. They throb like toothache.

530 Joe looked at toes. Instant bruise but not broken. They hurt something aweful. Swollen need to prop up. Foot getting cold. Put sock back on foot.

1130 foot propped after dinner. Once walking again toes throbbing and feeling like ice shooting inside.

Headache. Shoulders ache. Low back throbbing & sciatic pain. Skin itchy and sensitive. Hands swollen and throbbing. Chest center aches. Tired. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness. Lft pinky & 2nd toes throbbing horribly. Pain rx taken.

 

Sept 13

630 alarm. Took shower. Couldn’t figure out why razor seemed dull or I had goose bumps. After while realized razor still had cover on it. Ugh! I’ll have to try again later. Showers wear me out. Arms fatigue out washing hair. Legs feel wobbly. Hands throbbing. Out of breath. Need to rest a while but at least I’m clean.

Headache. Sinuses congested. Hands throbbing. Out of breath like I ran up the street. Whole body stiff and achy. Hurts to bend over like muscles are wound tight and need loosening.

Indigestion pretty bad after lunch. Took two tums too.

 

Sept 7

850 frustratibg! Washer quit spinning again. Had to wring towels out by hand…now in incruciating pain! Hung towels on line. Need to rest before making the chicken salad for lunch today. Will have to rest a bit first.

900 mom came over to help.

1115p soar all over as if major workout. Back throbbing. Lft hand numb & tingly. Toes and feet throb. Toes sting and tingle. St hip throbbing. Thirsty.

Chest hurts. Upper back & neck muscles tight. Lft collar bone throbbing. Slight headache. Makes difference when I take propanolol twice day for migraine prevention. Just wish I could find alternative naturally.

Sept 8

400p random sharp stabbing burning pains in leg. Rt hip throbbing. Feet especially toes are freezing. It’s 90° outside. So sleepy.

400 skin hypersensitive – some hair fell down out of sloppy bun slightly hiting my neck. Made me think it was a bug and I jumped. Second time it hit in my ear and felt as if large bug crashed into my inner ear causing me to jump and swerve car. Ugh. Scared Rae too.

900 Ladies Bible Study went well.

940 just looked at rt big toe. It’s been hurting all day as if I bruised it or something. It’s actually swollen like I sprained it. Surprised bc I don’t remember hurting it or stubbing it.

Whole body aches as if been in traumatic event. Tired and exhausted. Feet have warmed up a bit but still chilled. Lower lft leg mid way down to foot tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness and some tingling. Thirsty. Skin starting to get itchy and feel like it’s crawling. Low back throbbing with burning sensation. Hands swollen & achy. Lights bright.

 

Sept 9

230 nap taken

1050p toe swollen and aches.

Figured out how to get washer spinning again – has to be lighter loads. Washed, dry, and put away 2.5 loads of laundry.

 

Sept 10

623 woke thinking I was late. Looked at clock still have seven minutes. Whew!

As I dozed off last night, remembered I was suppose to be making cookies and brownies for the missionaries. Will have to start tomorrow.

726 muscles in upper leg spasming. Low back throbbing

1200 Need a nap before picking up Jordon

430 Joe had bad day at work now has me all stressed. Body not happy and hurting worse. I miss my happy place…need to figure out how to go there more often. The grounding will help tremendously.

100 I’m plumb exhausted. Brain foggy. Headache. Hands swollen and throbbing. Head & face itches. Rt ear hurts. Upper shoulders ache. Low back throbbing. Sciatica throbbing with pain down leg. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening with numbness & tingling down leg to foot. Missing rt tooth hurts. Pressure in head – if only I could realise the pressure. Skin crawling cause itchy sensation. Lights bothersome.

1100p beyond exhausted. Skin crawling. Sides cramping easily. Gluten cramping. Upper shoulders aching. Hands swollen and achy. Low back throbbing. Rt hip aches. If I stand too long it acts up. Lower left leg tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness & tingling down leg to foot. Skin hypersensitive…hair blowing on skin feels like army and crawling all over body poking me with fiery needles. Rt ear hurts. Tummy bloated. Need a break to rest.

 

Sept 5

900 muscles spasming in left side. Whole body hurts.

920 muscles spasming in legs

1230p almost forgot to take morning meds

430 walking down school aisle in DG. Turned head too fast. World started spinning. Had to grab cart to steady self bc I started falling. Closed eyes for brief moment to steady spinning. Told Rae need to go home and rest.

630 took walk with Rae & Mom in neighborhood. Can tell I haven’t done in while. Legs very sore. Need to do my PT exercises. Hair on neck bothersome. Feet throbbing. Rt hand and elbow throbbing. Periodic sharp needle stabbing pain in ribs. Tired. Legs very stiff.

1159p low back & rt hip throbbing aweful. Dr hip has pain down leg. Skin itches. Body aches. Chest center hurts. Let collar bone area hurts. Headache slight. Rt shoulder area throbs. Night meds taken. Applied sleepy time lotion.

 

Sept 6

700 very rough night. Joe trying to be nice by rubbing my back kept scaring me awake.

Body hurts from head to toes.

745 drank half cup coffee to help bm. Tummy hurt. Nerves now all jittery. Surely I will have energy crash little later.

1100 got angry at Joe for laughing at me. I was trying to figure out what was going on. Nothing going as scheduled. Irritates me to no end. (No choir. Not standing. Etc.) Makes me want to shut down and pitch a fit but I know in my brain that would only be childish. Feel like a child sometimes and don’t care what people think. Ugh.

130 Need nap pushed as far as can go. Sinuses congested. Sciatica painful shooting pain down leg. Intense cramping pain deep in rt side. Back hurting all over. Feet hurt.

630 lost my place while playing piano so I stopped playing until I could find my place and feel comfortable starting again. Joe started laughing. I got irritated and told him so. He informed me that he was laughing bc I was making a face and going cross eyed at same time. I started laughing. I guess I can’t be irritated at a funny looking cross eyed face. Lol😜

Sept 1

630 rough night. Trouble sleeping. When I did sleep strange dreams.  Shook me to core. Woke feeling like crying but don’t know why.

Migraine has eased. May need rx for sinus infection. Going to drink thyme tea with peppermint few days first.

917 joints all stiff and hurting. Muscles randomly spasming thru body. Neck and shoulders tense. Bloody nose. Rt ear hurts. Low back throbbing. Body doesn’t feel right. Head hurts. Nose stuffy. Skin hypersensitive – hairs falling out of bun touching neck feel like glass scrapping skin. I just want to cry 😢.

430p finally remember to call atty office. Spoke with assistance. According to their system my case was closed. I have no atty and must reapply. Mixed emotions (relieved, angry, frustrated, sad, etc). At least I know.

630p Watching tv. Commercial about furniture store.

Dezirae asks, ‘’What person keeps their house that clean?’’

I said, ‘’Not mine right now.’’

Dezirae replies, ‘’Oh, just young pretty mom’s.’’

I reply ‘’what? are you saying I’m not pretty?’’

Dezirae says, ‘’No I didn’t mean it that way.’’ Pauses then says “to Daddy you are.”

I reply ‘’you’re digging your own dog house”

Dezirae replies ‘’I’m digging a deeper dog house in my brain.’’

Joe giggles and says ‘’do y’all hear yourselves?’’

I said ‘’what?’’

He replies ‘’you can’t dig a dog house. Lol.’’

Oh the funny things my brain scrambles up. Lol 😂

930p exhausted and feel like I worked out today. Dezirae reminded me that I did in a way bc my washer quit spinning and I had to wring the clothes out by hand. Took me two periods to get thru one load and clothes are still in dryer. Joe asked friend to come look at it. Will be by on Thursday.

Joe still not get his vacation pay. He is stressed out over it. I try to encourage him but don’t think it helped much. Lord please help his bosses fix mess straightaway.

Rt hip throbbing with pain down leg. Hands throbbing. Thirsty. Skin itchy. Feel bloated, but I did eat several Oreos after dinner. Periodic stinging sharp needle pain shooting in feet up legs. Sharp tourniquet tightening feeling mid lft leg. Neck itches. Applied rx to spot on neck & lft arm. Back of tongue feels slightly swollen and as if it has few lesions. Tongue white coated and has few lesions. Hiccups randomly. Stuffy nose. Headache. Tired but not sleepy. Collar bones throbbing. Upper body hurts. Skin crawling

 

Sept 2

630a rough night. Trouble falling asleep. Active dreams – searching for something not sure what. Wake to head pounding dry mouth stuffy nose and wore out as if I had actually running.

Think I’ll ice my head for a bit. Need to get larger ice packs. Morning meds & 2 Tylenol.

5:00p Joe came home and cooked dinner. I put potatoes & green beans in pressure cooker while he was on way home. Presto new seal works and sides all ready.

815p showers are such a workout. I’m wore out.

1026 head pounding. Night meds taken.

Bad thoughts. Satan I’m residing now flee in Jesus’ name and through His blood. Whole body hurts. Chest sore from attempting to trim limbs. Dezirae did more. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Tourniquet tightening feeling mid lft leg to feet. Bad headache. Sinuses congested. Neck throbbing. Hands swollen and achy. Arms throbbing. Feet tingling stinging.

Jakob not feeling well. Some of staff have covid. Jakob had to be tested and quarantined until he gets his results back. Sending him a care package tomorrow.

 

Sept 3

727a nightmare scared me so bad as I gasped at the oncoming car that was about to slam into me I gasped (mentally & physically) and scared myself awake! Began praying to calm spirit within and fell asleep praying.

Need to do more on my blog. Need help with my blog but can’t afford to hire a tutor.

Woke feeling like I was in an auto accident – like I’ve been jostled around and beaten up.

Someone coming today to look at washer. Hoping it’s an easy fix.

1045a crazy morning already. Phone acting up. Very irritable but trying hard to hold tongue. Low back & rt hip throbbing intensely. Attempting to do chores around house little at a time. Have to rest in between. Mind wants to go but body says STOP!!!. Head hurting.

430p body hurts a whole heap. Joe picking up dinner. Day has not gone as planned.

Washer may be on way out. Need to start saving for new one. Ugh!

500p Joe called realized he didn’t have his wallet. Needs me to pick up dinner.

1100 excruciating pain in rt hip biofreeze no help. Pain rub no help. Naproxen no help.

Aug 29

1050 I’m exhausted and hurting. Need to take nap to recharge batteries.

Commented that I don’t know why I’m sooo tired.

Dezirae says well you’re not used to making breakfast, a birthday cake, and frosting.

I argued that I didn’t do much.

Dezirae replies, You haven’t done that much at one time since your lightning strike.

I thoght a moment – true.

It has also been a rough of extra pain and migraines from the two Hurricanes that came thru Gulf this week! When I feel this drained, I must rest a while before I can do anything else.

Need to go get items for Joe’s bday dinner. He wants fried chicken, mashed potatoes, asparugus, peanut butter cake with peanut butter icing.

215 exhausted and head pounding. Joe got ice pack for my head. Laying down a bit. Gotta get better unable to get much done in this state

8300 clouds getting dark. Looks like it’ll rain any moment.

900 rain let’s loose and down pours. I’m soaked. Good thing I not curl hair this morning. Mascara burning my eyes. Shoes soaked. Ugh!

1120 much trouble playing piano this morning. Can’t seem to coordinate my brain and hands. Eyes are very heavy. No energy.

Three visitors in church this morning. PtL!

345 took a 2.5 hr siesta. I wanted to stay longer but knew I needed to get up.

530 daughter reminded me her shoes broke this morning and she was barefoot. Took her to DG up the road. Not much to pick from. Thankful they had totes everywhere getting ready to restock. Asked if any of totes had shoes. They had cutest pretty lacey looking shoes and had her size.

600 forgot to pick offertory hymn for evening service. Started to look for one but got distracted. Service started.

Difficulty playing some of hymns not that familiar with. I know them (I Want that Mountain) but my brain is saying it doesn’t remember much of it. Some hymns I look at and go completely blank trying to play interlude before starting hymn (I can’t even recall the name of hymn – so frustrating at times). Intro is terrible. Once I start playing hymn, brain says Oh I know this one and I do fairly well job most of time.

Some days my brain is so tired and overstimulated that no matter what I just can’t seem to coordinate my brain, fingers, and keys. Today I had to just stop playing on last stanza bc I just couldn’t get it and though I asked God for help. It was more help to keep me from having a meltdown that help play it even fairly.  Of course, it didn’t help that I have been dealing with extreme pain and debilitating migraines all week.

Never mind that my house is a mess, behind on laundry, grass needs mowing (can’t mow wet grass), need to log grades, haven’t planned meals for week yet, and a long list of other things needing to be done. But God in His rich mercy put me in the path of a great chiropractor that not only recognizes the pains and multiple things I’m dealing with but is also able to help me. I felt immediately relief upon my visit Friday and am continuing to get relief from migraines. Still have headache but at least I can function some now. Need to slowly steady my pace but I will survive with God’s help.

 

No thoughts about it again until hymn just before offering. What ever am I going to do? Mind wants to panic. Heart asks God for help. Can’t blame no one but myself. Decide to play hymn next to hymn just sung. Whew!

 

Rabbit trails are strange at times. Lol.

 

1047p whole body aches. Feet tingling. Low back throbs. Legs achy burn. Hands tingly and swollen. Rt nostril slightly bloody but at least I can breathe clearly without congestion. Headache. Night meds taken.

 

Lord, please help me rest in Your arms tonight and wake tomorrow refreshed and renewed in You.

730 rough night. Joe woke up with vertigo kicking in. Dizzy. Vomiting. Woke me periodically during night. Felt bad for him. Gave him two.ginger capsules around 530.

Low back throbbing like toothache. Hands swollen & hurting. Rt nostril stuffy & slight bloody. Headache.

230 thunderstorm come thru.

430 decided to clean wall by trash can. Hot soapy water and bonami. Wiped wall and floor maybe 5 minutes and arms started cramping. Pushed till hurt too much maybe couple more minutes. Rt hand and wrist swollen twice size. Arms burning and cramping. Need to rest before I can do more. Headache.

Migraine. Facial sinus pain. Sinus rx taken. No work. Drink stress relief tea. Sleepy getting. Take relpax. Hope pain in brain help go.

Aug 26

1:30 had trouble swallowing food and choked. Trouble breathing. Choking hurt chest and upper body something fierce. Took while to stop. Felt weak and much pain once stopped. Had to sit a while. Drinking didn’t help either.

400 in great pain. Head pounding. Feeling funny. Nose slightly bloody. Sinuses congested. Hurrican Laura now Cat 4. Will hit LA tonight sometime. Wrists severely swollen & throbbing. Back throbbing. Rt hip stinging throbbing. Muscles periodically spasming. Legs ache deeply to bones. Feet throbbing & tingling. Feel as if I’m crashing. Laying down a piece.

It’s not overly dry outside. In fact it’s quite the opposite due to Hurricane Laura in the Gulf. It’s very humid. My BP is under control with rx though I haven’t checked it in a while. I’m pretty sure I don’t have a nose infection. Unsure about anemia. I don’t inhale chemicals nor do I take wage in or any other blood thinners. I do have a TBI.

 

Aug 27

645 woke to another bloody nose. Makes me feel very weak and drained of all energy. Headache.

1045 headache increasing. Sudden sharp stabbing pains in center of chest. Stop me in my tracks.

100 feeling very weak again. Inside of me feels very spasmodic and trembling. Tired. Laying down a piece. Very tired.

600p bloody nose again. My nose hurts. Feeling weak and drained. Face hurts. Head hurts.

730p Feeder bands from hurricane causing periodic storms today. Storming now.

950 migraine now rages. I’m irritated and very moody. Trying to talk with me sister on phone but having trouble hearing bc hubby talking. Throws me his phone telling me to read his text to my sister. His phone blinds me and hurts my eyes bc brightness all way up. My brightness all way down and is still too bright. Ugh!

Sipping stress relief tea to see it’ll ease headache and calm my nerves. Wanted chammolie but I’m out.

Mom offered me an ashwaghanda in church but I had to decline bc I’m allergic. She forgot. It’s okay.

Looks like I need to schedule Dr apt. Spot on neck is more welty and lump on lft arm looks like it’s growing. Ugh!

I guess its good I’m spacing out. Have chiro apt tomorrow. Can let him see what’s going on.

Tired of the nosebleeds. Nose hurts. Put vasoline in end of nostrils to soothe. Feels weird. Head pounding even in dark room. Whole body hurts.

1100 felt nerves easing slowly first then headache beginning to ease…no longer migraine but major headache. Eyes watering. Sinuses congested.

Applied pain rub to back of neck, temples, & forehead liberally. Took 2 Tylenol. Put phone on eclipse mode

 

Aug 28

530 woke to nosebleed and migraine. Took migraine rx (relpax).

745a Dr apt. Dr concerned about my needing to wear sunglasses inside. Told him have bad headache and been dealing with migraines this week. Also been in great pain bc of the Hurricane. Oh, and bloody noses. He agreed there’s a great change in barometric pressure with the hurricane. He said bloody noses could be related.

Definitely in a bad way this week. Every point he touched was severely sensitive. Admitted I had water leaking from my eyes.

Acupuncture (2 in back of neck, 2 in tops of shoulders, 2 in mid back, 2 in each hand).

Adjust neck & upper back. Iced head. Go back in one week.

145 Joe woke me. Wow! I didn’t plan on sleeping that long. Must have needed it. I’m still tired, but headache has eased enough that lights aren’t hurting. Bright lights are different story.

530 Dezirae curling my hair for my date.

Joe and I are going on a double date tonight, but it’s with a couple I’ve never met before and will actually be a marriage counseling session. I can’t give details but the husband suffered through a very traumatic experience recently. Joe thought that I might be able to help due to some of the issues I’ve dealt with from my LS.

I’m flooded with emotions. This is way out of my comfort zone, but I’m humbled and excited how God is allowing this cracked pot to be used for His glory!

1159 awkward at first but Joe broke ice by mentioning that I was struck by lightning three yrs ago. They asked questions and I answered. Once inside restaurant, they knew several people. It was cool. Ended up getting free birthday cake. Joe & I shared a plate. It was hard for me to keep up with the conversations. I’d also got tired. Able to share couple things that help me.

Think it went well. They both need help, but don’t we all.

I’m exhausted and have headache. Night rx taken. Tylenol taken. Headache getting stronger. Whole body aches. Sinuses congested but at least haven’t had another bloody nose since this am. Chiropractor helped.

Aug 23

630 woke from strange dreams. Still very tired. Head pounding. Whole body throbbing. Vision bit blurry.

Joe says that I was belly laughing in my sleep last night. Told him that’s funny I don’t know why I’d be laughing bc I was having bad dreams.

700 preparing for today. Missionaries the Williams. Meeting them for first time today. Giving them a blessing bag. Cooking lunch for them too.

830 got to church realized I forgot the salad and rolls. Ugh!

1230 lunch not quite ready. Have to regroup and change type to cook faster. They don’t eat much bread so it was okay no rolls. Enjoyed listening to them talk though I didn’t catch it all.

700p Sharp stinging in chest

745 my left leg went to sleep and is now very numb & tingly.

 

Aug 24

636 changing sheets and turning bed around took more than 30 minutes. I’m now in severe pain. Low back screaming. Upper body throbbing. Pins & needles sensation through upper torso and in lower legs. Feet tingling. Major headache. Very out of breath. Need to lay down for a while to rest. I’m exhausted.

800 wash load of clothes. Burned breakfast (sweet rice). Dezirae to rescue (home ec 😘).

Trouble figuring out how to fill out transcript info on form provided bc child took more classes than there’s room for. My brain won’t formulate how to process. I ended up using excel to type up info and submit. Hopefully it’ll work. Frustrating. It should be easy.

 

Aug 25

655a strange dreams. The dance is lost at sea…? Where did that come from?

My whole body aches deeply. It hurts to move. Sinuses congested. Thirsty – didn’t drink enough yday. Feel slightly dehydrated.

725 recvd msg from friend about neighbor being severely electrocuted 6 weeks ago and was asking for advise/suggestions.

Need to start getting copies of my records. Also, he’s going to start working towards trying to get me set up for Neuro testing. It give answers to extent of brain injury. Thank you, Lord!

228 rcvd call from Theresa, tbi coordinator. Checking on me. She told me that USA students still wanted to keep in touch to help clients stay socially active. Told me they picked me to participate. Told her I appreciated it but I wanted someone else who could use it more. Mtgs will resume first of year.

Told me she’s retiring mid November. Told her I’ll miss her and not to forget me. She said she could never forget me bc of my strong faith in Christ that I’ve been a blessing and encouragement to her. Awh!

415 rcvd call from scam likely stating there was possibly fraudulent activity on my ss# and if I didn’t answer call they’d consider something…. I didn’t say anything bc I was trying to process what was said. I didn’t catch everything either. Before I could say anything they hung up.

This upset me. I decided to check my ss account online. Found out that somehow my disability case was supposedly postponed. Then few days later it had been appealed and is waiting for a determination. I never filed an appeal. I needed a break to ease my nerves and then pandemic hit.

I was under the impression that I had to start all over. I’m severely confused. Will have to call attorney tomorrow.

Been storming off and on all day. Barometric pressure drop causes extra pain. Head pounding from information overload today. Bright lights bothersome. Rt hip stinging pain. Night meds taken. Naproxen taken.

1019 screaming pain in rt hip & lower back. Feet cold. Sinuses congested and sinus cavities in face throbbing. Head pounding. So tired. Naproxen not touching pain.

Aug 20

130 woken by loud noise…almost sounded like someone knocking on door. Put robe on and went to check on it but none up nor sound discovered. Prayed myself back to sleep.

710a I actually have house to myself this morning. Kind of nice. Will work on chores little at time.

Sometime during morning discovered the paint jar wasn’t fully closed and tipped over causing spill. Oh, no! Thankfully paint was in a plastic bag or it could’ve been worse. Took to table not realizing paint leaking thru bag too! Paint on table. Paint on hands. Not water based. Ugh! Quickly try rinse stuff off in sink. Not washing off!! Making messes everywhere!. Wipe paint off table with paper towels. Whew! Takes bit but it’s off both areas on table. Decide to use some of paint to paint a life jacket. End up getting all over hands. Have to use nail polish remover to get if off hands. Takes a while to get mess cleaned up. Wears me out. Now feel like I need nap.

700p Dad leading singing tonight bc Rick sick. Throws me off bc only singing two stanzas without prior warning. I’m thinking it’s 2nd stanza when he’s singing 3rd. It tickles me so much so I start laughing and stop playing for a bit til I stop laughing then start playing again. What a mess! Certainly keep things lively in church. Not the typical Baptists. Lol.

Aug 21

745a Went to bed freezing but woke up hot. Woke from nightmare. Had several of them last night. Couple of them scared me awake with a gasp. Whole body throbbing. Joints all really stiff and moving difficult. Stomach cramping. Lft arm and hand went to sleep while reading Bible. Had to sit up to relieve severe tingling.

Positive note headache has eased some. Lights still bothersome. Sinuses not as congested.

Maybe the colloidal silver & Probiotic combo is helping. Taking 2 tsp colloidal silver in am. Multivitamin w/ D, B12 mid morning. Vitamin C 1kmg am & pm. Probiotic with evening meal.

Tummy doesn’t feel bloated or hurt as much.

825a lft hand and arm went numb and tingling again. Can’t feel buttons on phone. Trying to post today’s verse. Frustrating.

930a muscles in lft arm spasming so hard that my family can see it. Tried moving arm to stop. Still continued. Lasted 20 minutes or so.

1220 I’m exhausted and haven’t hardly gotten anything done. Making kids do Bible & English today to finish schoolwork for week. Dezirae having trouble. Jordon breezes through. It upsets Dezirae Jordon gets done so quickly. He asks questions as needed. She upsets me for comparing & getting upset. Routine is out window bc Joe’s home.

1000p rt wrist throbbing and quite swollen most of day. Exhausted and deep bone pain thru body. Lethargic. Head hurts. Brain for fish.

 

Aug 22

750a so much pain does not make one want to get up. Woke from horrible nightmares. Need to calm brain back down.

Woke to both arms numb and tingly. Entire torso burning stinging pain. Hands swollen and throbbing. Legs ache deeply. Feet hurt. Toes tingly. The weight of Joe’s arm feels like it’s crushing my side – it feels so heavy (though I know it’s not). Neck hurts. My upper body warm but toes & tip of feet are freezing.

His arm may feel extra heavy due to extreme pain but I don’t complain bc it’s his way of showing he loves me and it’s comforting in the midst of the pain.

Should have expected the extra pain due to two named storms in the Gulf which are expected to hit land as soon as Tuesday. It’s been since I think around 1935 since this happened. First time in my lifetime. I don’t even remember what I’m suppose to do to prepare for hurricane.

We are in the midst of a perverse generation. Many seek to serve self and will hurt whomever they can to make themselves look better or advance their own cause. Many Christians are claiming 1 Chronicles 7:14 by mouth but their actions shew me their ways are tainted with the world’s standards. They have played on the line too much it has blurred their vision.

If I could only see this world the way You see, Lord, I just know I’d serve You more faithfully.😪

830a Asked Joe to rub the pain rub oil all over me. It’s helping. Still in lots of pain but can move slowly now.

Joe made breakfast: Grilled egg, bacon, & cheese sandwich

1000 kids asked to go to flea market. We brought my wheel chair due to me being much pain today. Passed out tracts. Met a guy that used to be in the daycare at church & his siblings went to the school. Invited to come join us. Neat to meet people who used to go to our church.

Stopped at Wal-Mart on way home. Needed few items for dinner. I’m exhausted but enjoyed the day.

4pm neighbors are having a party. Lots of people and music blasting. It’s so loud it’s rattling my chest and hurting me. Giving me a headache!

1000p finally quiet again. Now maybe I can try to get rid of migraine they gave me. Ugh! In much pain from head to toe. Both ears ringing. Skin itchy.

1100 nerves feel like they’re swollen and trying to expand past my skin.

Took night meds. Took Naproxen. Diffusing lavender oil. Applied sleepy lotion.
