Jesus – King of Kings

Jesus – King of Kings

1 Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

In ancient East countries, the title of king was representing of deity on earth. This title was given to earthly kings to denote the size of their kingdom. Only Jesus Christ can claim to be King of Kings throughout the universe. As King of Kings, He has supreme authority and power, and there can be no one greater than Him.

Looking forward to the blessed hope of His appearance.

Praying you have a glorious day!🎄

Jesus – Jesus Christ

Jesus – Jesus Christ

Philippians 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Christ is the Lord’s most well-known title, whereas Jesus is the Lord’s most well-known name. Jesus is His earthly name which means “Jehovah is salvation”, whereas Christ is His heavenly name which means the “anointed one”, who is the Messiah.

Christ not only took on Him the form of a servant and was born in likeness of man (Philippians 2:7), but He was was born of low estate (Luke 1:48). He was even further humiliated by the crucifixion and death on the cross (Luke 23), yet He rose triumphantly on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4).

One day, Jesus Christ will be acknowledged and worshipped by all for who He truly is. It is to God’s glory that everyone believe and confess that He is Lord (John 5:23).

May you have a Christ filled day🎄

Jesus – I AM

Jesus – I AM

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Those who are unaware of God’s existence deny His existence. All who know Christ should have a desire to know Him better.

The statement “Before Abraham was, I am” establishes that Abraham was a creature and Jesus is the Creator. Thus, He not only existed before Abraham but also before the world began. He was declaring His deity, in that He was Jehovah.

He is everything we need!

Jesus – Horn of Salvation

Jesus – Horn of Salvation

Halleluyah Shofar Authentic, Natural, Long Curved Fancy – Shofar PNG

Luke 1:68-69 – Blessed be the Lord God of Israel;for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

The phrase horn of salvation is only used three times in scripture (2 Samuel 22:3; Psalm 18:2; and Luke 1:69). Both times in the Old Testament are David giving thanks to God for delivering him from his enemy.

2 Samuel 22:2-4 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

God is our defense and offense. Because Jesus uses His power to secure and protect His people, Jesus is the horn of salvation for us.

Jesus – High Priest

Jesus – High Priest

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Levitical priests had to be holy men of God, but they also had to make sure their hearts and lives were cleansed before offering sacrifices on behalf of others. .

Because Jesus is ”holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens” (Hebrews 7:26), He is the only one who could possibly approach the heavenly throne on behalf of others as He is. Jesus is rightly called the High Priest.

Jesus – Good Shepherd

Jesus – Good Shepherd

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

A shepherd is one who tends sheep. The duties of a shepherd can be quite cumbersome at times. He must keep a careful watch over his flock at all times. In fact, shepherds are often subjected to great peril, sometimes even sacrificing their lives for their sheep.

Similarly, Jesus was born to be our Good Shepherd, willingly sacrificing His life for ours. He came to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10; Matthew 20:28). In declaring that He is the Good Shepherd, He speaks of laying down his life for his sheep (John 10:15-18).

Jesus – Firstborn

Jesus – Firstborn

Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Christ was born in the image of God – a vision of the Father in human form. Begotten is defined as ‘brought into existence by or as if by a parent’. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.

Before all creation or any creature was made, Jesus existed. All things were made by Him (John 1:3) – absolutely everything.

The emphasis in this passage is on the preeminence of Christ. He should have first place in our hearts and lives. We need to let go of everything that hinders us from glorifying Christ.

Jesus – Faithful Witness

Jesus – Faithful Witness

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

When a witness is summoned to testify, he must give the truth about what he knows. He can’t be caught lying since that would undermine his testimony.

Jesus is our faithful and true witness (Revelation 19:11). His testimony has been scrutinized more than any other in history, and no inconsistencies have ever been discovered. He always tells the truth.

Jesus – Emmanuel

Jesus – Emmanuel

Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

In the verses preceding, God told King Ahaz to ask for a sign of His protection. The king refused due to his lack of trust in God.

Our distrust grieves God, but our distrust will not make God’s promises any less effective. The Lord sent His own sign instead – Immanuel.

The name Immanuel (Emmanuel) means ‘God with us’, which describes His nature. He is God who became man, born of Jewish kin, bringing a new life. This act of ultimate sacrifice proved His unconditional love for us.

Thankful that God loves me inspite of my faults and failures.

Jesus – Daysman

Jesus – Daysmen

Job 9:32-33 – For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

Daysmen in the dictionary is an adjudicator, judge, or intermediary. A daysman must judge without partiality.

There is only one person I know who can rightfully be the mediator between God and man.

1 Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Christ purchased peace for us with His blood on the cross. If we trust in Him, our sins will be buried in the deepest sea (Micah 7:19), and will wash them white as snow (Isaiah 1:18). This causes for no offense to be able to be laid to our charge.

Thankful that Christ is ever interceding on our behalf.

Praying you have a blessed day 🎄
