Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk 4 cups flour
2 eggs 1 tsp salt (I use Himalayan salt)
4 TBS butter, melted ½ cup sugar
1 TBS Dry active Yeast (or 1 Pkg)
Filling:
¼ cup butter, melted 2 tsp cinnamon
¼ cup sugar 1/3 cup nuts, chopped (your choice)
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar 2-3 tsp milk
¼ tsp vanilla
Directions:
Add ingredients to pan of bread machine in order listed. Select Dough cycle and press start. This will take about 1.5 hours. While the dough is mixing, use this time to make the filling and set aside for later use. Once dough cycle is complete, dump dough onto lightly floured surface. Use rolling pin to roll out dough to about ¼ inch thick rectangular shape. Spread filling over entire surface of dough. Roll up dough. Cut rolled dough into about 1 inch thick slices; place in greased 9×13 or 15×10 pan. Cover and set aside for about 30 minutes to allow dough to rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or light brown on top. Once cinnamon rolls are baked, take out of oven. Top with glaze. Enjoy!
I use this recipe for the holidays to make them extra special especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It has become a family tradition that the kids look forward to each year.
