No, Never Alone

In my research on trying to fight cancer both naturally and conventionally, it has come to my attention that many cancer patients often feel lonely or distant from others.  This could be due to a variety of factors, including: friends who are having difficulty processing the fact that you have cancer and are unsure what to say.  It may also be because the cancer patient often feels too ill or tired to participate in activities.

If you have a loved one or a friend that has cancer,  let me encourage you to not be anxious or afraid to continue to call or visit them.  They need to know that others care, even if you just go sit with them and watch a movie and say nothing at all.   Your presence will mean more than you will ever know.

There are many other reasons and circumstances in life that will cause us to feel alone from time to time.  And while it may be normal to feel alone after a cancer diagnosis or during the process of cancer treatments, or after the loss of a loved one, etc., those who are saved should remind themselves that they are never alone.

The blessing of salvation is unmeasureable.  Even when we feel alone, we are truly never alone.   When we are anxious or afraid, comfort is near.   When the task or journey ahead seems insurmountable, God is always there to help, strengthen, and guide you.

I am thankful that God has promised to ALWAYS be with us. Our adversary wants us to feel alone and isolated, even in a crowded room.  He knows if he can get us wrapped up in feeling alone, we will become paralyzed and cease to carry out the task that God has given us.  Jesus has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Joshua 1:5; Hebrews 13:5).

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
