Lightning Strikes -Memoirs- 1-3 July 2020

July 1

645a woke from strange dream to much pain all over. Hurts to move. Feet hurt to stand on.

Muscle twitching in rt side of head so hard I thought someone was tapping on my head.

310 I’m dragging. Feel like energy was sucked out of me. Mobile City counsel voting today about mandatory face masks for 30 days. I asked them to vote no. If it passes, I will avoid going into city at all costs. Need nap. Severely congested. Sahara Dust back in air.

330 Ordinance passed 6-1.

600p celebrated Jordon’s bday. Hard to believe he’s 17.

930 exhausted. Severely congested. Chest hurts. Lft collar bone throbbing. Headache. Hands throbbing. Back aches. Low back throbbing. Rt hip aches. Tummy bloated & hurting. Legs hurt to bones. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling.

Able to print vbs fliers, print section III of Bible study, went with Jakob to Lowe’s to get #s for VBS banner, washed 2 loads of clothes – not folded though, made dinner. It was hard pushing to do that.

Calves cramping. Hands stinging. Toes tingling. Lights bothersome. Feet sting. Headache worse.

Took night meds, naproxen, nasonex, & melatonin. Applied sleepy lotion to legs & arms. Applied e.o. pain roller to bottoms of feet.

July 2

530 woke from bad dream. Whole body aches aweful.

614 woken by phone call from Joe. Apparently I didn’t hear first call bc I had fallen back to sleep. Besides hard to hear vibrating phone over the box fan on high.

720 whole body still aches something fierce. Headache. Hurts to move but move I must or I’ll continue to hurt worse.

300p think I’m doing some better in the anxiety issues. Thunderstorm today but managed to keep my attention elsewhere for most part except when it was close.

1127p pain intense. Skin extra sensitive. My hair touching my skin feels like glass. Blanket feels like sand paper. Joe put his arm on my back and it feels like ton of bricks. Tired. Pain thru whole body with traveling pins and needles.

July 3

745a woke from nightmare

1159p full day of running errands with Joe. Picked up rest of items needed for picnic tomorrow. Forgot the dessert. Ugh!

Worked on weeding flower bed by sign. Got 1/2 done and had to rest a while. Hands, arms, & chest throbbing. Cleaned up a bit inside. Might rain tomorrow but praying if it does it’ll be in am and not pm during our picnic. Back out to weed some more. Only got little bit more done before chest painfully throbbing. Had to stop for day.

Headache slight. Hands and wrist throbbing. Arms ache. Neck hurts. Upper back stings. Chest hurts. Low back aches. Rt hip hurts with pain down leg. Legs ache. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling. Feet & toes stinging with some numbness & tingling. Sinuses congested. Where does all the snot come from? Skin hypersensitive…hair bothering me.

Night meds, nasonex, & naproxen taken.

Lightning Strikes Memoirs – 16-17 April 2021

April 16

600 slept decent. Woke to lft arm numb and tingly. Whole body stiff and hurting. Vision a bit blurry. Headache. Sinuses congested.

800a chiro appt. Acupuncture – (9 needles ) move the wind? {2 ankles, 2 in back, 2 in hands near thumbs, 1 in back of head top of neck, & 2 on top of shoulders near base of neck}

April 17

Slept til 3 then up and down rest of night. Strange dream (same kind of different except I was the one that was different). Woke to whole body stiff and achy. Hurts to move.

Bible Reading 1 Kings 12-14, Psalm 49:1-15

Getting ready for church tomorrow. We’re having a missionary family and we’re feeding them lunch at church. Chicken & Dumplings, salad, veggie, brownies, etc. The family all jumped in to help bc it’d be too much on me physically. Decided to open up lunch to church family and they’re bringing sides as well. I’m thankful for a loving, church family as well.

957 finally in bed. I hurt something awful. Pain is an 8 or so. Headache.

Severe thunderstorm throughout day.

When it cleared a bit we ran to church to get the roaster pan & chicken. On way home, we saw several streaks of lightning. Each one causing my body to tense making me hurt more. I tried to occupy my mind to no avail. Glad to get home.

Night meds taken plus PEA & Tylenol. No migraine today. PtL.

I’m plum wore out, nasty taste in mouth for couple days.

Gouged the skin off knuckle on left thumb putting the dumplings in the fridge. Ouch!

Trouble finding the bandaids I know I bought, but found the windshield repair kit I forgot where I put it. Lol.

Praying for sweet rest and no reciprocal pain in morning.

Lightning Strikes Memoirs – 14-15 April 2021

April 14

1:44a Joe scared me out of sleep to ask what light was blinking. Needed to use restroom but not wide awake. Nerves are screaming thru body and sting immensely. Lft arm was completely numb and feels like someone was trying to tear it out of it’s socket. Sinuses congested. Tummy aches and feels bloated. Sugar is not my friend. Mouth severely dry and feels cottony.

200a severe sharp stabbing pain in center of chest keeping me awake. Unable to get comfortable.

Bible Reading: 1 Kings 6-7

Juicing: 1 Carrot, 1.5 Apples, 2 small Oranges

130 gave myself a goose egg on forehead. Peripheral vision was off. Leaned over to pick something up and hit my head on corner of the dresser. Wasn’t thinking straight either bc I walked past a mirror to ask Rae if my head was bleeding. Ouch!

230p shopping at walmart for veggies for dinner. Put my hand down on buggy not realizing that some of the metal paint was chipping off and got 1/4″ piece stuck up under my skin. Ouch!!! My palm is stinging. I let worker know. He in turn got manager. Manager inspected hand and buggy. Told manager what happened. Told how m I needed help getting it out and also didn’t want someone else getting hurt. He chipped off the chipping paint then had a worker go get clippers and twezzers. By this time my whole plan is stinging. We eventually got it out.

330 got home and Rae realized her keys were missing. Retraced steps. Not find them anywhere.

535p I’m exhausted.

 

April 15

500a severe thunderstorm rolling through. In severe pain all over.

838a still thunder storming, pain still severe all over. Have no energy or desire to move at the moment.

Morning meds & pain rx taken

Juicing: 3 handfuls of spinach, 1 apple, 1/4 lemon. Ate 2 scrambled eggs with himalayan salt + black pepper and 3 pcs of bacon.

Spent morning working on journaling and blog

Pain still great. Raining stopped about noon though still gloomy looking outside.

Snack: strawberries with stevia

130 went back to WM to see if anyone turned in keys. Nope

200 feeling kind of woozy and nauseous. Maybe from PEA or taking whole pain rx. Not feeling good.

430 Joe telling me about his day. Got soaked bc his rain jacket was stolen. Work supposed to be ordering more but haven’t gotten them in. Told him to keep pestering bc the squeeky wheel gets the worm. He chuckled and asked me to repeat. I gladly repeated. Chuckling he says no it’s suppose to be the squeeky wheel gets the attention. The early bird gets the worm. Lol.

530 dinner was a hit – swedish meatballs with egg noodles and mixed vegetables.

Lft Knee is killing me! Pain still very high but is easing. Won’t take another pain rx until bed time. Don’t want to have to fight through the side effects.

On positive note, usually anytime there’s a thunderstorm in our area I get bad migraines. This morning I started taking the PEA supplement with breakfast. Woke with bad headache, but it never turned into a migraine. Big plus in my mind’s eye. Migraines can be so disabling.

1038p exhausted and very tired. Bad headache. Still in much pain all over body but it’s slowly easing. Hands swollen and throbbing. Neck hurts. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with tingling to foot. Tailbone aches. Feet chilly.

Lightning Strikes Memoirs – 12-13 April 2021

April 12

5a Woke a little groggy and disoriented. Sinuses congested. Feel drained of all energy. Headache. Tummy bloated and aches. Whole body aches and burning throbbing. Hurts to move like Tinman trying to move for first time in ages and needs oil bc he’s too rusty.

Jordon has horrible indigestion and says he feels like crap. Lost his cookies few times. Called in sick. Guess I need to purify the air in house today.

Bible Reading: 1 Kings 1-2

Took Advil congestion. Laying back down for a bit. Hopefully I won’t hurt as much after some more rest.

645a laying here I just hurt more… stinging is getting sharper. Going to get up for a little bit and do some chores.

1226 decided to work on deep cleaning my room. Dust everywhere! Had to have Rae help me move bookshelf. Found mold. Wiped it down with theives cleaner. Sneezing. Doing little at a time to not overdo it.

Stopping to check on Jordon. Tummy still bothering him, but he asked for Sprite and soup. Gave him vitamins too. Reminds me I need to eat. I’m getting sleepy and hurting more. Think I’ll lay down a while.

That didn’t go as planned. Just as I was dozing off my phone blew up with msgs, texts, and phone calls. It’s okay all of them needed to be answered.

Decided to pick up livingroom some and attempt to vacuum. Wore me out, out of breath, exhausted, and every fiber throbbing greatly! But I did it. Haven’t vacuumed in over three years…at least I don’t recall I have.

530 Joe sweet enough to offer to cook burgers on the grill if I picked some up. Jordon requested they have cheese chunks. Told them I’d look. Good thing bc I had to walk behind buggy no wheelchairs available. Discovered I’m unable to talk on phone and shop too…miss too many items and have to double back. Rae getting tired of being in store.

My lft knee throbs immensely by time we get home. I look to check knee to find it swollen. Joe tells me to sit and rest my knee. Rae gets me some ibuprofen.

730 Rae & I take a surprise over to Dad to cheer him up. He wanted an Alabama t-shirt. I found a couple his size and saved it for him. It put a smile on his face. Dr thinks it might be his rxs that are messing him up. Blood work Thursday then they’ll go from there. He has us concerned. Praying God helps them get to bottom of his symptoms so he can get better.

918 going to bed early. I’m tuckered out. I hurt miserably from head to toe. Headache won’t quit. Neck hurts. Back stings and itches. Hands itchy, swollen, and throbbing. Legs ache horribly with periodic muscle spasms. Feet chilly and throbbing. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with tingling and stinging to toes.

April 13

Bible Reading: 1Kings 3-5

I forgot to write today. Paying bills I remember that I needed to renew license. Tried to schedule appointment online but schedule said that it was booked for rest of year for our county and next doors county. I ended up calling baldwin county bc mobile wouldn’t answer. Nice lady explained that I’ll have to do walk in during week. Took me quite a while to get things figured out. Ugh.

Didn’t even get to work on school grades till just before dinner which was what I intended to do this morning.

Lightning Strikes Memoirs – 10-11 April 2021

April 10

330a severe thunderstorm woke me again. Nerves on fire. Thunder & lightning making me jump.

400 woken by severe thunderstorm. Nerves are very tight through body causing extreme pain!!! Trying prayer and hymns in my head

600a finally fell back to sleep for half hour then alarm went off ugh.

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 19-21; Psalm 80

900a thunderstorm suppose to ease by 10 or 10.30a. Men have prayer breakfast today. Mom, Dezirae, & I going out for girl’s day.

300p I decided to push myself while out shopping with Mom & Dezirae instead of using wheelchair. Wanted to see how it’d effect me. I’m exhausted and getting sleepy.

400p came home and went straight to bed. Set alarm for one hour but apparently I shut it off bc next thing I know Joe’s waking me for supper at 7pm. Not feeling too well… grouchy and hurting. Indigestion is horrible.

Pushing myself that much is not good idea. I’m hurting much all over, groggy, exhausted, grouchy, miserable.

724 Holly calls to chat. I’m still trying to wake up. I chat the best I can but not doing so hot. I hand phone over to Joe. She agrees with Joe I did too much today.

1100 gone to bed but still awake. Indigestion is horrible. Took gerd rx, tums, and ginger chew over last few hours. Finally easing up. I feel like I was beat up. Will definitely be using wheelchair on our trip to see Jakob. Took night meds plus pain rx.

Center of chest sharp throbbing pain.

 

April 11

500a woke to nerves in body screaming in pain! Center of chest throbbing. I think why’s the costo flaring up? Then I remember that I worked in garden couple days ago. Ugh. Did too much walking y’day and I’m paying the price.

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 22-24; Psalm 77:13-15;

600 wish I knew how to turn off the alarm on the clock. I goes off just as I’m dozing back to sleep and wakes me all over again.

1100 sharp shooting throbbing pain in forearms to elbows while playing piano. It’s bad enough I want to quit playing but I continue bc I know that music is important in worship.

Brain is getting blurry and aching. Makes it difficult to focus and coordinate my eyes, brain, and hands. Feels like brain is starting to swim in a myriad of numbers and letters trying to figure out which way is up. Momentarily forget tune of song and make mistakes. My flesh wants to throw my hands in the air and quit, but my spirit is willing to keep trying. I say quick prayer saying “Lord help.” Quickly the fog begins to fade away and I remember tune and am able to correct myself though I still fumble in spots through music. Thank you Lord.

530 choir practice was a chore. Brain blurry and I feel cross-eyed. Balance is off. Unable to focus enough to do word find in bulletin presently.

600p Joe told me to take break from playing

Had difficulty singing hymns at first. I couldn’t find the right note. Closed my eyes to visualize the correct note but not working well. Looked up to see Joe signing to me to sit down. Apparently I started wavering when my eyes were closed and didn’t realize it. Once I sat down and gained stability, I was able to hit the right notes. Hmm? Wonder if there’s any correlation?

After church, Joe picked up dinner from Zaxby’s so I wouldn’t have to cook. I adore his thoughtfulness sometimes.

Brain hurts. Headache. Whole body aches deeply. Hands swollen and throbbing. Nose itches. Rt ear aches. Sinus drainage. Back aches and stings. Low back throbbing. Rt hip hurts. Legs ache with periodic stinging and itching. Feet cold. Toes icy. Joe’s arm feels like lead balloon. Tummy bloated and hurting.

Lightning Memoirs – 7-9 April 2021

April 7

700 bloody nose is precursor for a migraine?. Woke with migraine! Took relpax. Laid back down.

Whole body stiff and achy. Sinuses congested. Lft hand numb and tingly. Low back throbbing. Calves ache like I worked out too much. Feet hurt and tingly. Thighs ache. Vision blurry.

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 8-12;

7:40 applying ice to back of head for migraine relief.

757a Taking 1 ginger capsule.

Migraine began easing within 20 minutes of taking ginger. Thank the Lord.

1000 attending funeral today have mixed emotions…sad because I’ll miss her…peace knowing she’s not going to suffer anymore and I’ll see her again someday. Frustrated bc of certain people’s fake facades knowing how they’ve been acting behind the scenes. Honored that the family wanted us to take part in the services. Anxious yet happy bc I’ll be seeing people we’ve not seen in a while.

Moderate headache. Neck hurts. Lights bothersome. Hands throbbing. Low back throbbing. Rt hip aches. Legs mid-calf and lower feel like they’re wrapped up tightly in barbed wire. Legs pulsating stinging throbbing pain. Eyes hurt. Tired. Brain is mush. Not speaking right…

 

April 8

330a woke with brain going 100 miles per hour. Keep trying to pray but my thoughts are too loud in my head. Head hurts.

My body stinging throbbing. When ever I heard the rumbling of the thunder it makes my nerves tense up and the pain increases.

4:18 electricity flickered just before lightning

700 finally fell back to sleep. Slept about an hour.

1200 took me over two hours to balance checkbook even with computer help.

530p headache increases and nose hurting then all of a sudden it starts bleeding

600 vision feels like it’s getting blurry and I’m getting really sleepy.

750 I’m having hard time keeping awake. Eyes are heavy. Head hurts.

 

April 9

500 woke to a migraine and a thunderstorm.

Took relpax. Can’t sleep. Whole body stinging.

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 16-18

600 still wide awake. The pain is relentless and will not be ignored.

900a Dr apt. Computers are down. They’re having to do things old school – write it down on paper. Lol.

Bp 115/74 w211. Drs scale registering that I’ve lost 9 lbs. Yay!

Dr slowly coming around. Glad to hear of my improvements. Is okay with my experimenting with PEA and CBD oil w/out hemp. Blood work drawn and urinalysis. Rxs refilled. Says she’ll reduce the Dexilant from 60mg to 30mg. Follow-up in 6 months unless something comes up with labs.

350 homeschool Mtg with new cover school for next year went well. Dezirae excited. Ran errands for church. Stopped for treat at Marble Slab. Allergy symptoms as soon as I finished my ice cream. Definitely a milk intolerance. Still a nice treat.

Home and exhausted. Jordon sweet to help me out of vehicle so I don’t twist my knee again.

Lft knee hurts on top of everything else hurting. Migraine has eased but still have slight headache. Need a nap.

Laid down for about an hour. Didn’t fall asleep for long maybe 20 minutes.

Dezirae made dinner clam chowder and grilled cheese. Probably not a good choice with all that dairy products but it tasted good.

800 decided to take hot Epsom Salt bath. Soaked for an hour. Tired and ready for bed but indigestion is horrible and tummy hurts on top of everything else. Ugh.

As the thunder roars this morning, this song comes to mind and I’m thankful that my Lord keeps me safe amidst the storms in life.

Lightning Strikes Memoirs – 4-6 April 2021

April 4

430a whole body stiff and achy. Headache. Eyes watery. Lights bothersome.

438a bloody nose

Bible Reading: Psalm 55:6-10; 1 Samuel 28-31;

800a morning meds & 1/2 dropper of cbd oil.  Morning meds currently consist of 1/2 Edarbyclor 40/20mg tab, Propranolol 20mg, Dexilant 60mg, vitamin C 1k mg, b12, b3, fish oil

830 I think everything is ready for today. Praying for visitors.

I’m ready for a nap.  Low back throbbing. Rt hand ad wrist swollen and throbbing.

348 I flat exhausted and can’t go anymore. Taking a nap. Tummy bloated. Sinuses congested. Post nasal drip. Slight bloody nose. Lft nostril partially blocked. Stinging thru whole body.

600p Joe woke me so I’d sleep tonight. Whole body stinging and I’m still tired.

1000p stinging thru whole body with increased stinging and tingling in toes, feet, & ankles. Sinuses congested. Tired but awake.

Fell into closet. Mostly a soft landing though side hit plastic drawer thing. Had to have help to get up.

April 5

500 woke to both hands and arms numb and tingly.

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 1-3; Psalm 119:93-96

242 Muscles in legs spasming/twitching randomly…more so in left thigh area.  Hands sting and throb. Toes tingling. Headache.

412p rt toes on fire. Someone spilt bleach on floor in laundry room and I stepped in it. Rinsed feet with cold water. Ugh! Dezirae graciously offered to clean it up

1036 exhausted and hurting all over but wide awake. Muscles randomly spasming thru body. Bad headache. Toes tingly and cold. Lower left leg tourniquet tightening feeling with tingling. Low back throbbing. Neck hurts.

It’s been weird, stressful day. Trying to figure out how to get Jakob home for funeral on Wednesday. Flights cost $600. Rental car $400 plus gas. Ugh.  Guy we bought car from had to apply for lost tag which will take two weeks.

Bouts of grieving over loss of loved one. Washed three loads clothes.   Folded 2 loads from days earlier. 2 loads today not folded yet.

Whole body throbbing and stinging. Sinuses congested bc I was craving milk and drank whole milk. Tongue is looking better.  Forgot to take morning meds. Took night meds plus Excedrin Migraine.

Positive Praise:

  1. Photographer is going to allow us to get family photo with Jordon’s Senior photos at no extra charge.
  2. Going to get to see Jakob for couple days this week.
  3. We have good report established with the family.
  4. Even though our family is grieving we are working through it together in our own ways.

 

April 6

330a woke to burning fire throbbing pain in legs just below knees to feet. Bad headache with stabbing pain at my 4 oclock back side of head almost like I’m being shocked!!

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 4-7; Psalm 72;

612 bloody nose. I’m beginning to think they are associated with my migraines.

330 sat to rest a while bc back is throbbing. The longer I sit the more I hurt and the more I feel the exhaustion setting in. Need to lay down before I faint.

430 woken to a phone call. Feels like I could sleep longer. Legs below knees still stinging burning throbbing.

938 going to bed. Exhausted and hurting from head to toes. Headache. Sinuses congested and sinus pressure in face. Eyes hurt and sensitive to lights. Neck aches. Back aches. Tummy hurts. Lft arm stinging pain. Hands swollen and achy. Legs throbbing stinging burning. Feet tingling. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling. Tired. Skin sensitive to touch. Rt hip aches.

Long day ahead tomorrow and I need my beauty rest.  Attending funeral.

Lightning Strikes Memoirs – 1-3 April 2021

April. 1

4:30 woke to whole body stiff, achy, and in much stringing. Both hands tingling and stinging. Tummy insides cramping. Sinuses congested. Tinny taste in mouth.

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 18-20;

Juicing: V8 Splash Island Strawberry, 1 tbs chia seeds, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

Cooked 4lbs sausage in crockpot over night. Broke it up fine and put in ziplock bag in fridge. Cooked 4 lbs bacon and put in container for Sunday. Friend stopped by to deliver Color Street nails I requested. Visited with her for little while. Got Easter baskets out and put in them what I gave so far. Worked on blog for little bit.

Exhausted and nerves are burning throbbing thru body. Low back throbbing. Eyes getting heavy. Need a nap. Listening to Open Door.

Fell asleep for about 20 minutes. Having bad dream…dreamt that a semi truck rear-ended us and was pushing us into the back of a grey vehicle. As we were about to hit vehicle, I jerk awake at same time receiving text notification sound from Jakob. Whew!

It’s been a good day. I’m exhausted. Hurting all over. Low back throbbing. Tummy aches. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with tingling to toes. Mild headache. Post nasal drip. Yuck. Skin sensitive.

On the way home from church, Joe asked me if I remember something ___ on Sunday to remind him. I said okay. Sitting in chair in Living room, I remember I’m supposed to remind him but forgot what. I was going to set reminder in my phone so I asked him what I was supposed to remind him. He got upset and said nevermind I’m not going there. That in turn upset me because I was trying to do better but I honestly don’t remember what it was he asked me to remember. Eyes getting heavy. I’m exhausted. Decided to go to bed. I’ll probably be sleeping before he comes to be. Having trouble even now keeping eyes open.

 

April 2

630 fell asleep quickly last night. Low back throbbing intensely.

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 22-24; Psalm 34:6-8;

800 decided to work on my blog a little. Able to finish March 2019.

Joe decided for us to go look at a car.

Lunch date at Jereusalem Cafe. Started with Lentil Soup sprinkled with sumac. Soup was creamy with robust flavor. Delicious!

Beef Shawarmah – Grilled cubes of spiced and marinated tender beef topped with cucumber yogurt sauce. Plate came with a scoop of yellow rice. Rice was cooked to perfection and moist.

Joe wants to look at more cars. I’m done.

We ended up at 4 or 5 different lots. Much more than my brain or legs could handle. In much pain and brain is overload with too much information. Brain in shut down mode and I am now grumpy and angry.

I wanted to get little candy for kids easter baskets. Stores are too full of people for my liking. Trying to explain and it comes out all wrong. Upset Joe so he decided to go home without which makes more angry.

Once home Joe wants to talk it out but I don’t bc I need time to process and let brain rest. I end up saying I’m vacating premises because I need a break from you. Not what I wanted to say but instead of trying to explain I just walk out side and sit in sun for few minutes.

Whole body stings, low back & rt hip throbbing, legs stinging burning throb, feet tingle, post nasal drip tastes nasty in my mouth. Exhausted. Having trouble keeping eyes

 

April 3

700a lft arm sore, low back hurts, whole body stiff and achy, eyes blurry, neck hurts, hands throbbing and swollen. Strange uncomfortable dream…Joe finally appeared towards end so I reached out to him for comfort and protection. Still very tired.

My legs, feet, butt, and lower back are throbbing. Headache moderate. Took Naproxen for pain, Advil sinus for sinuses, & 1/2 dropper cbd.

Today has been a roller coaster of emotions day. We purchased a 2nd vehicle. Family we purchased from asked us to come back at 3pm to give them time to clean it out, etc. As we left, we received phone call that a friend was being taken to ER unresponsive. Prepping things for Easter tomorrow. Picked up new to us vehicle. Took some stuff to church. Delivered food to a friend. Received word that friend passed. Finished picking stuff up for tomorrow. Several phone calls letting us know of her passing. Decided to let Rae know tonight.

I’m past exhausted and hurting.

March 30

450 woke to both arms & hands numb and tingly, headache with sharp stabbing pains, nose stuffy

Juicing: 2 oranges, 1 apple, 1/4 lemon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp turmeric

Thunderstorm this afternoon.

Got caught in the rain going to post office. Ugh. Not able to visit Lawana bc of rain. Must make point tomorrow to visit. Long talk with Gaynor and Dale. I think it went well. Joe not sure about my helping her. It’s all kind of strange.

Jordon lost keys at work today. We searched car and cleaned it out. Took him back to store. 5 managers helping him search. I was impressed. Didn’t find. Praying for God’s help.  Severely hours later he got call that they finally found them. Thank You, Lord.

Felt well enough to walk neighborhood to Sassy (a horse) and back. It’s .40 miles round trip. According to google, it’s a 6 minute walk. It takes me much longer to  walk it than google suggests, but at least I’m making an effort. Keep moving forward.

Symptoms: Nerves are stinging. Low back throbbing. Rt hip hurts. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling. Feet burning throbbing and icy frozen feeling. Toes tingling. Hands throbbing and achy. Can’t seem to get comfortable. Feet cold. Headache mildly moderate. Joe’s arm across my low back feels like lead balloon.

March 31

500 woke at 1am with extreme tummy pain. Had to use restroom. Took me a while to get somewhat comfortable enough to fall back to sleep.

Whole body screams with pain. Sinuses congested. Legs and feet screaming stinging. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Hands swollen and throbbing. Eyes watery.

649 muscles in legs are rapidly and randomly spasming/twitching all over. It hurts. Headache increases from 3 to 5. Eyes hurt.

Need to research info for migraine relief.

I’m taking rx preventative, and have emergency relief and still getting them regularly.

Naturopathic Doctor suggested Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) supplement.

1000a extreme sharp pain in center of chest, muscles spasms in torso lft side and cramping on right side. Tried to bend over to touch toes to get chest to pop but almost fell over due to getting dizzy. Had Rae step on my back which popped quickly without much effort. Serious sharp pain eased, but still hurting. Laid on floor for a bit.

1100a A/C making funny sound and then quit working. We tried several things to no avail. Had to ride with windows partially down. It irritates me to have hair blowing in face while driving. Temp to go up to 84• today. At least it’s not raining right now. It’s suppose to thunderstorm this afternoon. Rae & I ask God to hold it off while I’m driving until after we pick up Dad.

200p had fun passing out goodie bags with church tracts. Each one we passed out put smiles on people’s faces.  One girl got so excited she was telling all her coworkers! She even told Jordon. Jordon told her he knew who gave it to her and let her know it was his Mom. She then comes trotting to our car and replied I had no clue you were Jordon’s mom and thanked me again for her Easter gift. I love putting smiles on people’s faces even when I’m in pain.

400p on way to pick up Joe, my lft ankle nerves start going into hyperdrive or something. My ankle and foot feel like they’re covered in mad fire ants – burning, stinging, itching!!!

Joe sweet enough to make dinner tonight. He knows I’m in great pain.

Pain level at an 8. Surprisingly my headache is only minor at the moment. Everywhere else stings and burning greatly. Low back throbbing. Rt hip throbbing. Hands swollen and hurting. Legs ache. Feet tingling and burning. Toes feel like skin was ripped off suddenly. I just want to cry. Sneezing. Skin itches. Joe’s arm feels like a lead balloon. Tired but having difficulty falling asleep.

Benadryl taken. 1/2 dropper cbd oil taken. Pain rx taken. Night meds taken.

LS Memoirs – 28-29 March 2021

March 28

Woke stiff and achy all over with top half of body in extreme pain. Toes still feel very cold but not like ice. Hands throbbing. Legs stinging. Rt hip aches. Sinuses congested. Sneezing. Rt hand and wrist feel very swollen like when I injured it playing volleyball as a teenager.

My heart and mind are filled with gratefulness because I am starting to remember more things. A few tears  escape my eyes. Thank You, Lord, for the great things You have done for me.

Things make you feel gloomy:

  • Most of day had moderate pain but able to ignore for brief periods.
  • After lunch, tummy bloated and started hurting.
  • Took long nap due to feeling exhausted. Thunderstorm in afternoon increased pain. Sinuses congested. Constant post nasal drip thick and irritating back of throat.  Drinking lots of water to keep it flushed.
  • Once home, pain in center of chest intensified immensely causing tears and moaning. Bent over to touch toes and chest popped some easing pain ever so slightly. Later burped and it eased some more. Took Naproxen to ease pain.
  • Whole body aches and stinging pain once again increases.

Highlight of day was church family taking time to express their appreciation for all I do at church. Gave me a basket of goodies and sent our family out to lunch.

P.S. I’m getting tired of only having one vehicle. Lord please give us wisdom and provide the need.

March 29

Woke at midnight with indigestion so bad I was gasping for air. Had to sit up and get to bathroom because I needed to use the bathroom as well as vomit. Stomach acid burned esophagus coming up. Joe jumped up asking what’s wrong. Able to get out in between gasps for air that I couldn’t breath. This went on for about 15 minutes.

Took ginger capsule and sucking on ginger chew to ease stomach. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to sleep soon.

500 my whole body stings. It hurts to move. I don’t want to get up. Throat hurts. Drinking water to soothe.

630 back home from dropping of guys at work. Decide to transfer laundry and throw in another load of clothes.

650 exhausted and feet are begining to feel chilly. Body is stinging. Need to rest little while. Set alarm in case I fall asleep.

1000p made brownies for Easter box sending to Jakob. Found him some collar stays. Bought some peeps. Not sure what else. Thinking about it…not actually sure what I’m doing for us this year. We are watching our sugar intake so all that candy isn’t appealing

Symptoms: throat still sore from acid burn, headache, sinuses congested and seasonal allergies acting up, hands throbbing and swollen, upper back hurts, shoulders ache, low back throbbing, rt hip aches, tummy slightly bloated, legs ache, feet sting.

Goal done: Jordon’s 3rd quarter grades done and submitted, 1/2 of last ASL test written, brownies made, finished buying Jordon’s Easter outfit, discovered I missed deadline for submitting info to newspaper for April, sewed new velcro on Jordon’s hat for work.

Overall it was a good decent day.

Dezirae reminds me she needs help with Math. Oh, how I loathe Math now.  She also reminds me that she needs her last ASL test. I’m now feels ng overwhelmed.
