March 26
700 woke to nerves twitching randomly thru body quickly…felt weird. Did some deep breaths to get them to calm down. In doing so I fell back to sleep until alarm went off.
Whole body stiff and achy. Hands and feet throbbing. Rt hip aches. Stinging pain is mild.
Bible Reading: Ruth; Psalm 43:3
900 Chiropractor appointment. Dr did master points reset for accupuncture. Couple of needles hurt going in with one shooting pain to toes lft side. Another tickled so I burst out laughing. Dr asked if I was ticklish. Told him I didn’t know I was there.
16 needles (1 in top of head, 2 in back of neck either side, 1 in center of shoulders, 4 in back -2 mid way & 2 lower, 2 at outer back of knees, 2 above inner ankles, 2 at inner wrists, 2 in hand between thumb and index)
130 back home and exhausted. Need nap.
Homemade pizza for dinner. Used bread machine for one crust. Back severe throbbing by time done with pizzas. Had to sit a while.
650 went for walk in neighborhood with Rae & mom. Made it to Sassy (neighbors horse up the end of the road) and back home. I was done for sure after that but I did it.
Tummy feels really bloated and hurting.
Low back throbbing, hands ache, rt wrist swollen and achy, headache, rt hip aches, feet ache, stinging needle pain just in upper body region. Improvement is good.
Checked my tongue in mirror after I brushed my teeth. My tongue almost looks normal…just a small patch of white in middle.
March 27
650 woke to agonizing pain in hands, arms, and back, and bad headache. Feels like I was beat up bad.
Joe sweet enough to massage areas with eo pain relief rub. It helps take edge off.
Bible Reading: 1Samuel 1-3; Psalm 43:3;
Weather – raining off and on all day
Exercise – decided to go do some Easter shopping. One child had bad attitude so that child didn’t get anything. Another child found shoes finally. All the walking wore me out and made legs throb exponentially. Ended up sitting on part of store’s furniture bc I couldn’t stand any more. It led to a lady asking why I was hurting. Was able to give my lightning testimony. Lady said it gave her the chills. Invited them to church. One of Ladies, Christy, works in Grand Bay Pharmacy. Said I should stop in and say hi some time. Told her I would.
Watched movie called Walk By Faith. It’s about a young man with Sickle Cell Disease. He embarrassed and gets tired of having disease. Made to do report in school on the disease and paired with guy he doesn’t like.
Took Epsom Salt bath to ease pain in legs ended up out if breath. Had to rest a while afterwards.
Feet feel like their frost bitten frozen but Joe says their not that cold yet. Whole body hurts. Hands throbbing. Lower left leg from chin to toes tourniquet tightening feeling squeezing hard with tingling sensation. Low back aches. Random muscles twitching thru body today. Skin itchy. Sneezing. Headache.

March 13
545 woke with “God of the mountain” song on my mind. Feet & toes stinging burning. Sinuses congested. Headache – head feels like top is in vice grip and sharp stabbing pain at 4 o’clock. Whole body stiff and achy. A bit dizzy upon sitting up. Had to sit upright momentarily till spinningveased to use restroom. Joe rubbing my back feels wonderful. Lights bothersome.
Bible Reading: Joshua 9-11, Ephesians 6:10-19, Psalm 37:3-5, Joshua 1:9, 2 Timothy 2:15, Matthew 18:10
Breakfast: bowl of cereal
Used whole milk and within 30 minutes my sinuses congested severely. Had to take Tylenol sinus
Goals: prep for church tomorrow, bulletins, make muffins for SS, hospital visit
Making muffins wore me out. Single batch made two less of four dozen. Feel crash oncoming. Need to rest a while.
Symptoms: headache, muscle cramping/ spasming on rt side, whole body stiff and achy, stinging needle burning pain in feet & back, low back throbbing, sharp stabbing pain in my head at my 7 o’clock – only lasted a minute or so, blurry vision, brain fog, exhausted, sinuses congested, legs burning, rt hip throbbing, rt ear hurts.
Meds taken. Took 1/2 Benadryl & naproxen
Psalm 127:1-5 – Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Thankful: I am thankful for the children that God allowed me to be a mother to especially when doctor’s told me that I couldn’t have children. I claimed Psalm 37:3-5 trusting God would give me the desires of my heart. And He Did!
Striving to raise your children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4) is a difficult task. It is also a very rewarding one.
*Teach your children to love the Lord with all their being and to respect His house and His Holy Word (Deut 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6).
*Help them hide God’s Word in their hearts (Psalm 119:11, Joshua 1:9).
*Show them how to study and apply His precepts to every day life (2 Timothy 2:15, Psalm 19:7-10).
*Pray for God to surround them with angels to protect them from harm (Psalm 91:11, Matthew 18:10).
*Encourage them to climb every obstacle and become courageous followers of truth (Joshua 1:9, Ephesians 6:10-20).
*Motivate them to live lives of purity, kindness, and compassion that they may shine as bright lights in the world (Matthew 5:13-16, Philippians 4:8, 1 Timothy 4:12).
March 14
Woke momentarily not know where I was or what day it was. Kind of scared out of sleep but I don’t know what startled me.
I heard Joe say my name but he’s asleep. Woke with thoughts of needing to read scripture to LM when I visit her next but I’m not sure which to read. Prayed for her and all those God brought to mind.
Sinuses congested, tired, whole body stiff, achy, and throbbing. Headache. Skin hypersensitive – hair on face feels like razor blades.
Bible Reading: Joshua 12-15, Psalm 23
Feel so exhausted and lethargic today having hard time pushing myself.
Laid down after lunch to take nap. Crashed quickly. Alarm set for 2:30. Slept til 3.50. Had trouble mustering strength to get up.
Symptoms: whole body stiff and achy upon waking, sinuse congested, headache, brain fog, blurry vision, hands swollen & throbbing, stinging nerve pain through body, inner ears itch, lethargic, exhausted, stomach hurts, rt hip aches, Feeling of stabbing knife pain under rt arm but nothing is there, got cold suddenly…feet now freezing. Low back throbbing.
HK got excited when she saw in the Kids Corner of the bulletin the activity was about God’s Adopted Children. She exclaimed I’m adopted! My daughter quickly interjected, ” You’re adopted in God’s family too.”
I added “You’re adopted 2xs so you are chosen and loved” HK with grin from ear to ear emphatically shook her head yes.
Gave lady in church a birthday gift and placed it in her seat so she would see it when came in. She immediately came and found me to thank me. She made comment that I had given her a coloring book few years ago and she’s almost finished it. I totally forgot I had.
LS Memoirs – 10-12 March 2021
March 10
Woke to numb & tingly arms and hands. Stiff all over.
Bible reading: Deut 32-34, Psalm 36:5, 1 Peter 3:15,
Juicing: 1 apple, 2 oranges, 1/2 lemon, & 1/8 tsp ground ginger
Goals today: work on blog, work on 3rd qtr grades,
Worked on blog little bit. Helped Rae with Math a little. Thankfully, she was able to figure it out. It made no sense to me. Crashed for an hour before picking up my meds and Joe from work. Felt like I could sleep all day. Wore out and exhausted. Folded two loads of clothes from Monday. Had Rae help. Didn’t get to 3rd qtr grades. Jordon starting to feel better.
Symptoms: headache, sharp stabbing pain at 4oclock on top of head, rt ear hurts, lower lft leg & ankle go numb, stinging burning pain in upper back, center of chest throbbing, exhausted, sharp pain shoot thru left forearm. Rain is coming bc my pain increases. Sinuses congested. Stabbing needle pain all over. Tummy hurts.
Took meds, 1/2 Benadryl and pain rx. Hopefully I’ll fall asleep soon. Takes me a while when I hurt this much.
March 11
500 woke at 2am I know not why. Took awhile to fall back to sleep. Fell asleep praying. Woke again at 445 from weird dream. Whole body stiff and achy. Moderate headache. Inner ears itch. Sinuses congested.
Bible Reading: Joshua 1-4, Psalm 15, Matthew 25:31-40
Center of chest hurting again. Stinging pain thru body after showering. Arms fatigued out in shower, but lasted longer than normal. Out of breath. Exhausted. Need a short nap.
Fell asleep listening to wholetones music on phone.
Juicing: Carrot Juice 1 carrot, 2 apples, 1/2 lemon, 1/8 t ground ginger
Goals: wash one load clothes, work on 3rd qtr grades, finish bulletin board
Rough day. Had difficulty keeping eyes where they needed to be. Pushed thru in spite of difficulty. Ended up royally messing up the kids weekly planners – somehow I ended up two and three weeks off frustrating kids. Whole process wore me out good. Decided to take lunch break to ease headache and blurring. Quickly felt crash oncoming. Sat in recliner told Rae I felt it coming and out I went. Out for 30 minutes or so.
After cat nap, got up and worked on correcting one child’s planner.
Symptoms: headache, brain blurry, brain foggy, eyes jumping, difficulty focusing, frustration, much pain, center of chest hurts, stinging needle pain thru body, legs throbbing, neck hurts, feet throbbing, lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling, bit dizzy and unbalanced, grouchy, exhausted, lack of energy,
March 12
Woke to whole body stinging, burning pain. I overdid it yday. Bad Headache. Sinuses congested. Took Advil Congestion & Sinus otc.

Juicing: not feeling up to doing it today. Hurts to move.
Later decided to make a chocolate milk smoothie with 1 tbs chia seeds and 30 drops stabilized liquid oxygen.
Stinging burning pain in center of back spreading to entire back in finger vein like feeling. Hands throbbing.
Received notice that LM had stroke last night and was admitted to hospital. Has some paralysis on left side.
Symptoms: bad headache, stinging burning pain all over, sinuses congested, lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness and tingling, rt hip throbbing, at one point in day top half of back was burning hot while bottom half of back was freezing cold, legs ache, tired and wore out, lack of concentration ability,

Feb 10
2:18a- woke up at 6:30. My alarm didn’t go off as normal my phone just vibrated but I heard it. Snoozed like 3 times before getting up. Took shower. Got ready. Took rx. Swished with coconut & oregano oil for thrush. Tongue looking much better just a little more to go. I’m feeling better.
9:00a- went to check on mission house to make sure it was ready for a missionary this afternoon. My world was turned upside down and off kilter. Looked like someone got in house left crumbs on table & stove that molded. Someone turned off a/c units and mold was everywhere! I told Dezirae we were gonna have to clean it. Went & told Joe. Entire family jumped in to help wipe whole house down & clean it back up. Need a better vacuum & dust pan. Got it clean but am exhausted and hurting!
1:00p- Upper back is stinging needles. Can’t sleep when it hurts like that. Have to also start decorating for Valentine’s dinner on Thursday.
11:00p- I’m exhausted but having trouble falling asleep. Whole body hurting. Hands swollen and achy and tingling. Skin itchy, eyes watering, rt hip throbbing like toothache, low back throbbing.
Had dinner with missionaries. Enjoyed listening to everyone talking. I’m ready to crash just wish I could.
Feb 11
7:00a- woke with headache. hands swollen, achy, & tingly. Rt hip & back aches. Muscles twitching throughout body. Eyes watery. Chilling sensation in center of chest. Face itches. Center of chest hurts. Neck hurts. Slightly congested.
9:00a- kids were sweet and brought me breakfast in bed.
10:30a- able to get Valentine’s care package in mail for Jakob today.
11:30- working on next item for taxes…my brain and eyes are already feeling blurry and my speech is messed up (making up words, reversing letters & numbers, etc). Called tuna “turkey” and told the kids to squinch it to make it go farther. Jordon asked what that meant. I told him I had no idea just made it up. I meant to tell them try to make it go farther but couldn’t remember word to use. Lol!
*It’s important to learn to laugh at ones self or you’ll die of frustration and embarrassment. Don’t misunderstand bc I do get quite embarrassed at times especially in public, but I’m working on learning how to love myself inspite of my shortcomings.
12:30- turned wrong and whole body cramping. Severe cramping on right side. Oh, it hurts so!!! Joe told me to check to make sure I’m taking enough calcium and magnesium. Told him I expected it bc I overdid it this weekend with walking too much on Saturday, having to clean mission trailer unexpectedly on Sunday and decorating for Valentine’s dinner.
2:59- need to rest a bit. Brain is swimming & headache in beginning to surface. Upper back is throbbing and stinging slightly. Neck hurts. Legs and feet are freezing. It’s 71 inside. Craving fried lentils. Weird.
8:00p- spot on head hurting bad. Checked in mirror. Barely touched and it popped. Ugh! Cleaned it as best I could. Can only hold my arms up for a short while before they throb like a toothache. Applied Frankincense oil to keep infection away.
11:49p- stinging pain in hands, skin feels itchy, headache, and head hurts, chest feels like my ribs are caught together. My body feels hot to touch but I’m freezing.
It’s really hard to fall asleep when there’s stinging pain. When I overdo it, I suffer for next two or three days depending on how bad I overdo. It’s just my new normal.
Not complaining in the least. I pray God can use this for His glory. If I can bring awareness and help others along the way then so be it. Tonight is one of the nights I’ll probably have to take pain rx & relaxer to get to sleep.
Feb 12
7:00a- woke from a nightmare! Hands numb & tingling. Neck hurts. Tired. Cold.
7:59a- sitting in bed reading. Nose starts bleeding. So wish I could figure out cause. Nerves are tingly thru body.
8:05a- nosebleed lasted about 3 minutes. Now I have a headache.
It’s a good thing to give thanks to the Lord and sing praises to His name
(if only I could remember rest of the song).
10:07a- having seemingly allergy attack this morning – major trouble with sinuses all of a sudden. Only things I’ve had so far is my medicine/vitamins (Edarbyclor, probiotic, alpha lipoic acid, b complex, propranolol, b-12), grits n egg, water. I don’t understand. Drinking cup of hot green decaf tea with peppermint and copabia oils to see it’ll help. Gotta figure out how to heal my neurological system.
11:19a- Just finished posting rest of journal entries for September 2017. Need to rest my brain. Eyes & brain feel blurry and swimish.
11:45a- I have a headache. I have a headache. hey-hey-hey-hey
12:43p- serious indigestion. Eating yogurt to calm it.
3:00p- managed to paint 2nd wall in Dezirae’s room, but I’m done for rest of day. Out of breath, brain swimming, unable to focus much, gait off, need to rest.
5:00p- trouble getting rice to cook. Forgot to replace lid so it took like forever to cook – way past 30 minutes. Kids had my kitchen hijacked to work on their valentine boxes for co-op tomorrow. I have no idea what we’re going to bring.
6:49p – Second wall painted today. I know pic isn’t very good. It’s coming along.
11:19p- lower back is throbbing like toothache. Took rx & melatonin. May need heating pad, but I’m really hot so I’m trying to avoid more heat. Even turned on box fan which I’m not feeling much of. It’s on Joe’s side. Head hurts. Hands tingly. Skin itchy. Feet hurt. Neck hurts. Diffusing Lavendar oil.
Thrush still not completely gone but it’s much better. Taking Echinacea. Though I think I forgot to today. Did swish with oil of oregano & coconut oil this morning. Upper chest aching & tense. Rt side cramping. Feet throbbing. Hiccups?

7:00am -Joe scared me awake around 6:30. Woke me up from bad dream…
Chest hurts, rt side cramping, headache (wish I could get rid of them for good). Muscles twitching in left side.
11:30a- got stressed over typing up Dezirae’s Bible quiz & both kids needing my help at the same time. Needed to pick up my rx at pharmacy. Told Joe I needed some therapy & I’m going to the Thrift store. Found a few Christmas presents. Rx ended up being more than I expected. Back home before Joe had to leave for work.
1:42p- getting chilling sensation at base of brain down back of neck & left ear – second time today
11:50p- had a decent day not too much pain unless I was doing too much. Vaccumed under part of bed. Had to have Jordon move bed back even though it was on wheels bc my back was hurting. Hurt my rt arm trying to reach object under bed. Had to have Dezirae get it out for me. Frustrating bc I used to be able to rearrange & deep clean my room in one day. Not anymore. It’s been over a year since my room was deep cleaned. Now I have to do it in spurts. Oh bother.
Headache. Stuffy nose. Muscles randomly twitching in legs. Skin itches. Eyes watery. Tailbone just popped. Low back aches. Rt hip hurts. Feet freezing though I have socks on. Neck aches. Upper back stinging needle pain. Wide awake. Ringing in ears.

12:11a- stabbing pain in center of rt thigh. I need a new doctor specialist. Need one that cares enough to learn with me or try to research answers.

9:20a- so much pain!!! Rt arm & hand numb but tingly, swollen hands & pain. Upper back stinging needle pain. Low back throbbing. Feet tingly and pain. Upper arms ache. Stuffy nose..trouble breathing. It’s raining outside so I’m sure that’s part of it. At least my toes are warm. Oh, the pain.
2:27p neck is all knotted and hurting. Headache won’t go away. Bp is 100/73 at least that’s good. Last time I remember seeing it that low was before children. Yes!
11:30p turned in bed caused extreme painful cramp in right side couldn’t move for a few minutes

8:00a woke with headache. Neck hurts to turn. Tired of headaches
9:30- having trouble playing Christmas hymns today. They’re gonna be the death of me so frustrating. Lord, please send us a pianist that can play better than me. Eyes blurry. Toes freezing.
2:00p took kids to Bayou la Batre Christmas parade. Went into store while waiting for parade to start. Parade was kind of cute and short. Been a rainy month so all others had been rained out.
3:30p – sharp stabbing pain in center of chest. Tensed up and wanted to hunch over from the pain but knew I couldn’t bc iz driving. Oh in need of neck massage. Neck muscles so tight shoots pain down neck and body. I’m so tired.
9:18p – center of chest stabbing pain. Chilling sensation at base of neck and shoulders area.
