Psalm 34:8
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Taking time to thank God for His daily blessings (heavenly hugs) not only nourishes the soul, but also gives Him glory.
What blessings do we receive daily?
- The ability to wake up one more time.
- Hugs from ones we love.
- A call or unexpected visit from a friend.
- Spending time with family.
- The ability to read His Word each day.
- Enjoying His beautiful creation around us.
- Answered prayers.
Don’t forget to take time to “smell the roses” and see what great and mighty things (Jeremiah 33:3) the Lord does for us on a daily basis. The Lord truly is good to those that trust in Him.
