Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4
Our “valley of the shadow of death” could refer to the dark times in our lives, whether they be health-related issues, financial struggles, times of suffering, etc. We must remind ourselves that even though darkness can be a frightening place, the shadows cannot hurt us, and all we must do is simply walk through it.
God is our Great Shepherd and He will guide us through each phase of our lives. What a comfort to know that believers can be confident that God’s goodness and mercy will be with them every day of their life.
