Juicing for health

In my research to fight cancer, I’ve learned that cancer is a complex disease. Cancer patients endure numerous physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial obstacles as they fight the disease.

Mountains of paperwork from imaging facilities and insurance companies can get overwhelming during a patient’s battle. Doctor’s appointments and hospital visits can become tedious and monotonous. All of these occur while the patient attempts to manage the daily stress and discomfort of their disease.

One of the many ways I am working on fighting cancer is through juicing. The recipe listed below is the current recipe that I’m using.

Juicing

  • 2-3 medium carrots
  • 1-2 stalks of celery
  • 1-2 apples
  • 1 wedge of red cabbage or 1/4 beet
  • 1/4 tsp organic ginger powder
  • 1/4 lemon or 2 TBS lemon juice

Try to have all organic fruits/veggies as possible. If not, then soak in sink with 1 cup vinegar for 15 minutes, then rinse well. Make juice fresh. Cut fruits and vegetables to fit in juicer chute. Store in mason jars in fridge. Drink periodically throughout the day.* This recipe will make about 8 ounces of juice. I make enough to last me two days.I will also add either 1/2 teaspoon of Moringa Leaf Powder [1] or 1/2 scoop of Patriot Greens Powder [2] to my juice. I usually alternate days. Shake well before drinking. Enjoy!

While I am juicing to help fight against cancer, it is also beneficial for everyone. It helps you get your daily fruit and vegetable intake. It helps boost your immunity, circulate blood, detoxifies the body, protects your body from free radicals like cancer, plus more.
