August 1
430 woke to “He’s Everything To Me” on my mind

‘Til by faith I met Him face to face
And I felt the wonder of His grace

Bible Reading: Isaiah 18-22, Psalm 119:114,
Center of chest sharp stabbing throbbing pain. Hurts to move. Arms ache. Legs and feet hurt. Asked Joe to apply the homemade pain rub. Took rx pain pill.
1015 getting very sleepy. Decide to drink a cup of coffee to give me some energy to make it through the morning service.
Tk sneezed which startled me and I jumped. Dm giggled and commented she’s more jumpy than I am. I just smiled. I know I startle very easily. It’s part of the PTSD from the lightning strike.
1120 coffee not a good idea. Woah! My nerves are very jittery making me feel weird. I’m shaking and dizzy.
200 time for a nap. Feel the energy draining out of me quickly.
Just fallen asleep and scared awake bc Dezirae wanted to show me she finished the bulletin board for me. Scared awake few more times by the thunder and lightning. No wonder my bones and joints hurt more.
500 snuck up on me. My rt forearm is quite swollen and throbbing. It hurts much to play piano tonight. Eye coordination off. Applied pail eo roller to forearm and hand twice.
August 2
600 woke to both arms numbish and tingling. Low back down to feet stinging burning throbbing pain. Exhausted. Use restroom. Laid back down and fell back asleep for while longer.
700 low back to feet still much pain. Tired. Hands throbbing and lft fingers stinging. Rt hip hurts
Bible Reading: James 1:22, Isaiah 23-27
Body feels like a storm is coming. I check weather on phone. Oh, boy. It’s suppose to start raining around noon and eating until tomorrow.
Chores: fill rx box for week, transfer purified water to talk n jug, fill up ice cups trays, make tea, take load out of dryer, put load in washer – I’m hurting all over and exhausted. Need to rest a bit.
Sharp pain in chest.
Dezirae asked if I could help her put her vball net back up and all I had to do was hold the poll. I agreed. Then decided to harvest the amaranth leaves. There’s two plants that I didn’t even plant. But they’re doing quite well. My tomato plants are finally getting taller. Praying that they’ll do well and produce a bunch of tomatoes. (I planted them as seeds back in March.
Acupuncture – 2 in feet, 2 in wrists, and 4 in chest – costo area. Oooh, it’s still tender!!! Told the Dr it wouldn’t hurt if you didn’t push on it. Ouch. Lol. He chuckled and said I had a point.
It starts thundering while I’m laying there. My nerves start tensing and I get an instant headache. I can’t flinch bc it hurts to. Second thunder was louder. My daughter who’s sitting in waiting room with my niece hollers “Mom are you okay?”
I didn’t know if I should be mortified or in awe because she cared. Lol. Either way I was embarrassed.
She proceeded to ask what room I was in to come check on me.
Nurse asked if I was afraid of lightning.
Dezirae said, “She was struck by lightning.”
Nurse replied, “Oh. my! Yeah, that’s right.” Another lady interjected, “Well, she has a right to be.” (I heard all this transpire while I was in back room with door shut).
700 Niece came over to hang out. Her & Dezirae decided to do their nails a little while later I decided to join them.
900 got box fan out of attic for Dezirae to use in her room. Had to ask for help to get down. Joe came to my rescue.
Fan was quite dusty so decided to try to clean it up a little bit. Little bit of exercise wore me out and I was out of breath. I need to rebuild my stamina again.
955 sharp stabbing pain under rt breast
1100 center of chest throbbing immensely. Upper shoulders and back throbbing. Insides hurt. Upper torso hurts so much it nearly taking away my breath. Legs and feet ache. Sharp stabbing pain in center of back.
Why does pain have to hurt so much!?
I’ve overdone it today. Took night meds, pain rx, and 1/2 Benadryl
August 3
630 woke to both arms numb and tingling. Throat hurting (think I snored). Freezing cold. Muscles in torso twitching. Both ears ringing for 5 minutes.
Isaiah 28-30, Proverbs 4:1-4
Low back throbbing. Sinuses congested (I ate 2 cheese sticks and some Mac n cheese last night. They’ll clear up after little bit). Thighs ache deeply as if worked out too hard. Hands ache. Whole body stiff and achy. Eyes a bit watery. Tired. Indigestion. Sucking on ginger chew.
Washed load of towels. Made tea. Put few dishes away. Picked up some trash in yard. Out of breath. Resting a bit.
Made lunch (chicken salad). Drank chocolate milk icee with D.E., chia seeds, and coconut oil.
Planned chemistry lessons.
I’m so lethargic feeling today. Need a nap. We’re throwing my Mom a birthday dinner party. Brain hurts, slight headache, and feet freezing. Putting on socks.
400 tried sweeping (with vacuum) and moping kitchen but about seriously injured myself. Had to go sit. Told kids for one to sweep and one to mop.
950 sharp pain under right breast almost as if being zapped
