Sept 26
500a awake. Headache. Lft arm and hand numb & stingy tingling.
600a seriously need to get cuter outfits. Muscles randomly twitching thru body. I don’t need this stinking bad headache this morning. Took 2 tension headache tabs.
800 arrive at conference. Treat ladies to yellowhammer coffee. Asked about decaf coffee. Didn’t have decaf but other trucks do. Got peach strawberry smoothie. Don’t want caffeine jitters to cause more pain than I’m already in. Would love the treat but not worth the pain to me.
I look forward to ladies fellowships. Even though I don’t really get to talk much just the socialization is an uplifting and encouraging experience. But to also be fed spiritually enhances it so much more. Will have to type up notes to share later.
1200 Ladies decided to eat at Cracker Barrel. Enjoyed it. The food tasted amazing to me. It’s like I have a new taste on foods. I savour every flavour. Food finally tastes good to me. The sweet baby carrots just melted in my mouth. The broccoli.was a bit bland but still good. The chicken and dumplings were out of this world. The dumplings were just the right size and texture and the chicken was tender and juicy. It flaked so easily when I pierced it with my fork. The only thing that would have made it more delicious was if I had a dash of himalayian sea salt. The fresh made lemonade was delicious…not too tart and just sweet enough. Drank two glasses.
After that I was ready for a nap.
230 sat with Joe a little while once we got home. Exhausted told Joe I needed to recharge before I could do anything else. He suggested I go lay down.
530 woke from strange busy dreams. Didn’t want to get up but knew I needed to
Must have slept for couple hours. Could have slept longer. Outings wear me out so much, but I’m not going to let it hinder me from trying.
1030 Jordon asked me to cut his hair. Used the new clippers he bought for my bday. I really enjoyed using it. It’s so lightweight it feels as if it was gliding. It didn’t hurt to hold it like my other one does. The digital display is cool bc it tells me % of battery. It certainly was a very thoughtful present.
1130p exhausted. Tired. All my nerves are stinging! Hands swollen and throbbing low back throbbing. Skin hypersensitive – slightest touch irritates me so. Centers chest hurts. Brain fogged. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling.
Sept 27
500a woke to use restroom. Trying to see in dark scared myself running into Joe in dark. He gently hugged me and I hugged back to help calm my nerves. Tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t so tired and pain is stinging burning pain thru to bone.
630a stinging burning pain intensifies. I just want to cry. Trying to keep my thoughts on positive things my mind reviews conference of what I can remember. I love music and singing. Parts of the special music I’m amazed melodically flow in brain. It calms my mind. Music jumps to Psalm 19:14. I too learned that song in grade school. I’ve recently taught it to my kids. I think I’ll teach it to my ladies next mtg. I love Scripture in song. It’s so soothing.
700a trying to read my Bible but having trouble staying focused
1045 kids surprised me with homemade birthday cards. Clarke’s gave me gift bag full of goodies -lotions, sermon notebook, etc.
1130a forearms and hands severely swollen and throbbing causing much pain. Trouble staying focused.
Still having trouble remembering things. Been to store several times and forgot things I needed for church.
100p Joe cooked lunch. The food tasted solo good. I savored every flavor. It’s like my tastes buds are finally waking up.
1025p very sleepy but awake. Night meds taken. Sleepy lotion applied to arms and legs.
Whole body deeply aches. Hands swollen and throbbing. Stinging pain in upper back. Lower back throbbing.
Sept 28
846a MB called. I totally forgot to call her back over the weekend. Wants to do a coffee date. That’ll be nice.
930 washer spinning again.
1130 washer quit spinning again. Ugh!
130 I’m flat wore out today. Choked on my food at lunch time causing severe pain to chest and upper body.
400 sharp sudden stabbing pain in rt side of head – like being electrocuted/zapped with tazer. The pain!
423 I feel the rain coming. Sharp needle stabbing pain thru body. It is exhausting me so.
620 crashing…cant keep eyes open.
720 crashed for an hour. Feel like I could sleep longer. Limbs and torso stinging needle pain.
900 going to bed. I’m exhausted beyond compare and really hurting all over. It’s storming outside including thundering and lightning.
