Run to Jesus! – Anonymous

 

Several years ago I heard a sermon preached out of Genesis 41. The part that really stuck with me was verse 16 where Joseph said to Pharaoh, ” It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” I dwelt on this thought for days and eventually had a plaque made for my wall that has part of this verse on it.

 

Oh how often I feel IT’S NOT IN ME —but God shall give an answer of peace! Life can be so pressing at times and I don’t have an answer. I’m thankful that I can run to Jesus. Psalm 86:7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: FOR THOU WILT ANSWER ME.

 

If you are feeling pressed out of measure today and almost despair of life? Run to Jesus! Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

 

Recently I have found that in my lowest of moments, His strength is made perfect in my weakness! I choose to rest in Him today.
