500 I’m glad there’s nothing heavy to try to lift today bc I’m feeling the repercussions of lifting the old entertainment center into the van y’day to take to thrift store. I hurt something horrible from neck to toes. Ouch! I have a headache too.
Glad when Joe decided to rub my back this morning. It helps relax my muscles.

Ran some errands after dropping girls off for school. Took longer than anticipated, but it felt good that I did them. Exhausted by time I got home.
Fell asleep in chair around 700p. Woke around 730 feeling weird and dizzy. Joe helped me to bed.
I hurt horribly from head to toe – deep bone stinging pain. Muscles spasming randomly thru body.

530 can’t believe I slept most of the night. Woke a couple times to use restroom but fell back to sleep pretty quickly.
I’m still in great pain. Moderate headache. Sinuses slightly congested. Think I’ll be taking it easy today. Joe’s right I need to pace myself better.

Key made, checked paint colors, paid bills, watered garden, worked on blog (I finally figured out how to change the picture! Yay! Still need to decide on a recipe for Friday).

Just because something exists doesn’t mean its edifying or will bring glory to the Lord. We must not be distracted about by many things but rather meditate on the Word and Christ’s work on the Cross for us. The more we focus on Christ the more our faith will grow.
Exhausted. Need to rest a bit.
Nerves stinging. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Headache. Out of breath.
1000 just finished helping Dezirae study for her quizzes tomorrow. Head hurts. Rt hip throbbing immensely. Exhausted. Hurt all over.
Lord, please comfort my niece and she’s missing her family and everything is a bit overwhelming for her. Give her a hug to show that you lover her.

600 Im stiff and throbbing from head to toe. Rt hip throbbing immensely. Headache. Muscles spasming randomly thru body.

Helped girls study a little before school. Bible verse today is Proverbs 3:5-6. Encourage girls to be kind. Know Jesus loves them. And to have a great day
After dropping off gals at school, remembered I needed to get paperwork for Dezirae’s apt to fill out ahead of time. Quickly discovered that I forgot to grab my cane for balance. Found a metal bar in back of Joe’s car and used that. Requested paperwork once inside but was quickly informed that they didn’t do that anymore as it’s all done online. I explained that I don’t fill forms out online. Lady asked another lady for help. After a little while discovered I was in wrong office. Ugh! The lady directed me to right place.
Upon heading to correct medical office I almost ended up in an accident. I got in the turning lane thinking I needed to turn left, but as I slowly studied my surroundings while sitting at the light I realized I could go straight across to get to the medical office, but I forgot to check to see if there was anyone in lane next to me! Thankfully the man was gracious to let me proceed without incident. Whew!
Ladies inside this office were much friendlier and more understanding. Lady gave me paperwork to complete, and highlighted where I needed completed.
Change is difficult for normal circumstances but throw in unusual difficulties and it make it much more challenging. This doesn’t mean it can’t be done it just means one might have to learn to think outside the box to accomplish certain feats.
Once home chores were…wash few dishes, fill ice cube trays, make miracle grow and water gardens, begin dough for rolls for dinner in bread maker, do little research for gals Bible classes, prep and dehydrate some potatoes.
I’m exhausted and need some rest before picking up the gals.
Whole body stinging, pain increasing suddenly not sure why
200pm severe thunderstorm rolls in. It’s so bad Joe offered to pick up the gals for me bc he didn’t want me to have to drive in it. I happily obliged.
Gals reported they did well on their quizzes. I’m glad.
Dinner was a hit! Garlic butter steak bites, homemade yellow rice, honey glazed carrots, and homemade yeast rolls. I like when even I enjoy my dinners.
Sometimes I get dinner made only to have my stomach get upset for no apparent reason or something smells off to me and I don’t enjoy it.
1020 my sciatica is killing me today!!! No position is comfortable. Periodic sharp stabbing pains in rt hip. Skin itchy. Headache. Low back throbbing. Tourniquet tightening feeling in lower lft leg with numbness and tingling to toes. Hands achy. Neck aches.
Forgot to take morning meds. Took pm meds plus headache pain rx.

430 trouble falling asleep last night. Fell asleep sometime after midnight.
Woke to intense stinging nerve pain, rt hip intensely throbbing, and hands and wrists stinging throbbing.
501 few minutes after waking sinuses congested making breathing thru nose difficult. Didn’t take enough C y’day. Had to take Tylenol sinus to ease congestion. It’s almost like having allergic reaction to something I know not what. Forgot to take 1/2 a benadryl last night.
Joe rubbing my back and hip. Says rt hip area is slightly swollen.
Didn’t get to post a recipe to my blog y’day bc of a severe thunderstorm last night. Not working on computer during thunderstorm. It was bad enough that Joe told Dezirae to close the c nourtain in living room bc the lightning was making me jump.
Jeremiah 32-34,
900 taking teens to the Back to School Bash. Excited bc half our group has never been. What a blessing of growth. Thank you Lord.
Forgot how loud it can get with all those teens. I’m a bit jumpy. Made a joke out of it. Had to cover my ears for little bit.
Didn’t get to do anything I wanted so decided to sit with one of the teens so she wouldn’t be by herself. She ended up leaving me. Ended up chatting with one of the workers. Giving testimony about our church and how God’s been working. Somehow I ended up giving her my lightning strike testimony. She had never met a survivor. Learned that she is a nursing professor at the college (Heather). She said she would definitely be talking about me in class with her nurses. She thanked me for sharing and said that I had been an encouragement to her. Thank you, Lord.
