Lightning Strike Memoirs – 28-30 September 2021

Sept 28, 2021
514 woke from strange dream to lft arm feeling like circulation was being cut off and throbbing. Stood up to use restroom. Feet numb and tingling almost lost balance. Body feels like I was beat up bad. I hurt greatly from head to toes. Very tired.
Song: That Beautiful Name of Jesus

Haggai 1-2, Matthew 9:36-38,

Study with Dezirae for English and Chemistry quizzes. It’s thundering periodically outside. It wasn’t supposed to rain today. They way I’m feeling I won’t be doing much today but resting.
Pushed myself to vacuum living room, hallway, and part of bedroom. Cleaned filters. I’m done. Need to rest a while. Hurting all over, feeling weak, and faint.
Resting for a while.

1200 worked on my college class for a little bit until my vision started blurring and stared getting a headache.

130 decided to hard boil eggs but forgot about them being on stove until I heard a pop. Boiled all the water out, and burnt an egg. Oops!

200 I’m exhausted and lack energy today. Nerves burning throbbing. Feet chilly.

230 didn’t put socks on right away and now my feet are freezing. Putting socks on.

1030 took about 8 hours for feet to warm. Sinuses slightly congested. Took night vitamins plus immune boost vitamins and 1/2 benadryl. Whole body aches. Chilly tingling sensation down spine. Periodic dizziness thru day lasting no more than 30 minutes at a time.

Have burnt egg smell stuck in my nose. Spritzed lavender air freshener in front of fan. It’s working – lavender smells much better than burnt egg.

1 Corinthians 3:8, Psalm 16
I have learned that if I determine to spend time in the Word before I go to sleep, it reverberates in my mind, helping me to sleep calmly. This in turn helps to significantly lower the frequency of nightmares.

500 woken by Joe’s alarm. Whole body stiff and stinging burning throbbing pain. I just want to cry “Ouch it hurts”. Tummy hurts. Skin itchy.

Psalm 16:11, Zechariah 1-7, Proverbs 29

Took Joe to work.
Breakfast: Carrot juice (carrots, apple, orange, lemon juice)
Tasks: Burn papers, purify water into jugs, clean pool filter, make tea
Feels like it’s going to storm today. Cloudy outside and muggy
Showers still wear me out a good bit. Arms fatigue out easily and cramp a little especially washing hair. Headache. Vision feels blurry. Legs started fatiguing and cramping. Feet ache. Short of breath. Tired. Whole body throbbing pulsing sensation. Have to rest a while afterwards. It’s good to feel clean.

1030 Had to sleep off bad headache. Slept an hour. Still have headache but not as bad. Took morning meds and Excedrin to get rid of it more.
Need to make pie for my Dad.
Made two 10″ pie crusts. Bottom crust in oven.  Lower back is throbbing like a toothache. Need to sit a moment. Decided to type up my recipe for my blog this week while resting my back.
Pie now in oven. It looks yummy.

Worked on college class typing up the questions to prepare to type in answers. Gave about 40 minutes before vision stared blurring and head pounding. Why does thinking or concentrating cause brain pain?

Dinner delicious. Not too fond of the apple pie filling – too sweet. Liked the crust though. I just didn’t have the energy to make the pie filling too. It took me four hours to make the pie.
My chest is starting to really hurt now. Ugh. Arms are starting to cramp – lft more than right.

Stayed up to help Dezirae with homework. Forgotten how to identify gerunds, infinitives, and participles. Just remember basic noun, verb, and prepositions. Frustrating. Having to relearn how to do it so I can help. Ugh.
Headache strengthens

Scalp itches. Think I’m allergic to herbal essence shampoo. Sinuses congesting. Had cheese in the lasagna tonight. Took 1/2 benadryl tablet. Whole body stinging throbbing moderately. Upper body sore as if I worked out. Making pie crust is a work out especially when it takes me four hours due to frequent breaks. Hence, why I don’t make pie much right now. The crust tastes so good though. Skin itchy. Exhausted. Brain hurts from thinking.
Night vitamins taken plus 2 Aleve.
Muscles twitching randomly throughout body. The longer I lay still to relax the worse I feel.

Ephesians 5:15-17, Philippians 1:9-11
Thankful for:
1. Being able to make a pie today – a labour of love
2. A home to live in
3. A Christian family

500 rough night. Arms throbbing. Whole body stiff and throbbing. Hurts to move.

Song: Amazing grace my chains are gone I’ve been set free

Philippians 1:9-10, James 2:15-18,

750 helped Dezirae study for History quiz. Worked on typing up answers for few questions for college class until vision getting blurry. Worked on info for a blog post until got a migraine.
Need to rest eyes to easr headache and blurry vision. Tired and hurting.

I’m so tired. I could probably sleep all day. Need to get a few chores done.
1. Refill soaps dispensers thru house.
2. Stocked toilet paper in bathrooms
3. Did little grocery shopping.
Used Publix app for first time. I love that it tells me what aisle the items on my list are on. Got my free birthday ice cream. They even had my favorite flavor. Able to shop in under 30 minutes or so. Win. Win for me.
4. Got my free medium birthday sub at Firehouse.

Took lunch break when I got home.
After lunch, I worked on putting up backsplash behind kitchen sink. Used both rolls. It looks good.

244 picking Dezirae up from school. Almost home and remembered I forgot to get tags renewed. Today’s last day of month. Ugh!
Grabbed renewal notice and back out I go. Thankfully hardly any line at tag office. In and out in under 10 minutes. Thank you, Lord

Brain is effected today. Thought process off. My comprehension speed is greatly slowed. Having to have people repeat themselves several times before I get what they’re saying. Had to have Dezirae write out what she was telling me so I can read it. Frustrating.
Wish I could figure out why that happens when I push my brain.

2 Corinthians 5:10, Matthew 16:27,
I wonder have I done my best for Jesus
Who died upon the cruel tree?
To think of His great sacrifice at Calv’ry!
I know my Lord expects the best from me.
Refrain:
How many are the lost that I have lifted?
How many are the chained I’ve helped to free?
I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,
When He has done so much for me?
