March 30
450 woke to both arms & hands numb and tingly, headache with sharp stabbing pains, nose stuffy
Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 13-14; Psalm 74:19; Isaiah 53:1-4
Juicing: 2 oranges, 1 apple, 1/4 lemon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp turmeric
Thunderstorm this afternoon.
Got caught in the rain going to post office. Ugh. Not able to visit Lawana bc of rain. Must make point tomorrow to visit. Long talk with Gaynor and Dale. I think it went well. Joe not sure about my helping her. It’s all kind of strange.
Jordon lost keys at work today. We searched car and cleaned it out. Took him back to store. 5 managers helping him search. I was impressed. Didn’t find. Praying for God’s help. Severely hours later he got call that they finally found them. Thank You, Lord.
Felt well enough to walk neighborhood to Sassy (a horse) and back. It’s .40 miles round trip. According to google, it’s a 6 minute walk. It takes me much longer to walk it than google suggests, but at least I’m making an effort. Keep moving forward.
Symptoms: Nerves are stinging. Low back throbbing. Rt hip hurts. Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling. Feet burning throbbing and icy frozen feeling. Toes tingling. Hands throbbing and achy. Can’t seem to get comfortable. Feet cold. Headache mildly moderate. Joe’s arm across my low back feels like lead balloon.
March 31
500 woke at 1am with extreme tummy pain. Had to use restroom. Took me a while to get somewhat comfortable enough to fall back to sleep.
Whole body screams with pain. Sinuses congested. Legs and feet screaming stinging. Low back & rt hip throbbing. Hands swollen and throbbing. Eyes watery.
Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 15-17; Isaiah 53:5
649 muscles in legs are rapidly and randomly spasming/twitching all over. It hurts. Headache increases from 3 to 5. Eyes hurt.
Need to research info for migraine relief.
I’m taking rx preventative, and have emergency relief and still getting them regularly.
Naturopathic Doctor suggested Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) supplement.

He suggests people take 2 pills twice daily. It can take about 3-4 weeks for it to work.
1000a extreme sharp pain in center of chest, muscles spasms in torso lft side and cramping on right side. Tried to bend over to touch toes to get chest to pop but almost fell over due to getting dizzy. Had Rae step on my back which popped quickly without much effort. Serious sharp pain eased, but still hurting. Laid on floor for a bit.
1100a A/C making funny sound and then quit working. We tried several things to no avail. Had to ride with windows partially down. It irritates me to have hair blowing in face while driving. Temp to go up to 84• today. At least it’s not raining right now. It’s suppose to thunderstorm this afternoon. Rae & I ask God to hold it off while I’m driving until after we pick up Dad.
200p had fun passing out goodie bags with church tracts. Each one we passed out put smiles on people’s faces. One girl got so excited she was telling all her coworkers! She even told Jordon. Jordon told her he knew who gave it to her and let her know it was his Mom. She then comes trotting to our car and replied I had no clue you were Jordon’s mom and thanked me again for her Easter gift. I love putting smiles on people’s faces even when I’m in pain.
400p on way to pick up Joe, my lft ankle nerves start going into hyperdrive or something. My ankle and foot feel like they’re covered in mad fire ants – burning, stinging, itching!!!
Joe sweet enough to make dinner tonight. He knows I’m in great pain.
Pain level at an 8. Surprisingly my headache is only minor at the moment. Everywhere else stings and burning greatly. Low back throbbing. Rt hip throbbing. Hands swollen and hurting. Legs ache. Feet tingling and burning. Toes feel like skin was ripped off suddenly. I just want to cry. Sneezing. Skin itches. Joe’s arm feels like a lead balloon. Tired but having difficulty falling asleep.
Benadryl taken. 1/2 dropper cbd oil taken. Pain rx taken. Night meds taken.

March 15
500 woke burning up but no fever. Dr hip throbbing. Mild headache.
Bible Reading: Joshua 16-18, Psalm 7:11, Psalm 73:25-28,
Wore out after burning papers, and putting load of clothes in washer – laid down to rest a while. Listen to wholetones music while resting. It helps me relax. Music is soothing to my brain and being.

Realized I hadn’t balanced checkbook this month yet and decided to do it. After 4 hours checking & rechecking 10xs & using computer to help calculate. I’m down to $.10 off. I quit!!! My eyes and brain are blurred and hurt. Found several mistakes I was able to fix though. I hate when I can’t find error.
Symptoms: low back throbbing, multiple muscle spasms in legs simultaneously, whole body stiff and achy, center chest throbbing with mild icy feeling, arms ache, hands throbbing, tired, mild sinus congestion, stinging pain in arms, hands, torso, & feet-ugh!, brain & vision blurred, headache worsens, irritable and on edge, exhausted, lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling as if someone/thing was squeezing my leg, stinging, burning, throbbing pain in legs.
Took Tylenol for headache in am. Sleepytime tea, benadryl, & naproxen at bedtime and pm meds. Forgot to take am meds.
March 16
Joe woke me out of deep sleep. I haven’t slept hard like that in long time. Still tired. Legs still throbbing. Hands and fingers numb and tingly. Headache. Lights bothersome.
Fog very thick making it more difficult to see with all the bright headlights. Can’t get over how much traffic is on roads at 6:30 am. Seems to have tripled overnight in last few days. Road work people took stop sign down at end of our street making it difficult for me to see our road. Missed my road and had to turn at next road 2nd day in row. Ugh! Kid waiting for bus is going to get hit if he’s not more careful. At least I.could see his red jacket today.

Breakfast: Ate scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Worked on writing devotional for my blog. Worked on cleaning out closets. Lost track of time. Hospital visit. Friend making progress in stroke recovery. Forgot to text TBI coordinator back to confirm visit for tomorrow so not sure if she’s coming or not.
In much pain today but able to ignore for short periods but very scatter brained. I don’t like it one bit.
While I was preparing meds for week, realized I misplaced my migraine prevention rx I just had refilled last week. I remember taking rx bag out of car but I cannot for life of me remember what I did with it. I start to panic bc it’s not cheap rx. I stop to pray and text Joe to pray as well. I text my daughter to ask if she recalled. She does not but offers to pray as well. I try to retrace steps I could remember – nothing. I call pharmacy and they confirm I did pick it up. Ugh! I pray again. I look everywhere in house I think I may have put them. I begin to scold myself but them Holy Spirit gently reminds me that won’t help. After 30 minutes or so, I choose to give up momentarily to finish prepping meds I do have. While doing so, I look over on night stand. Lo and behold they are sitting on night stand! Hiding in plain sight. I feel sheepish. Thank the Lord for His help.
Symptoms: headache, sinuses congested, stinging needle pain in legs, hands throbbing, muscle spasms random thru body, low back throbbing, lower legs tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness & tingling to toes, moderate to severe pain in center of chest, legs ache, severe indigestion. Severe pain must be indication of bad storm in next day or so. In exhausted.

March 7
Woke at 2:20am with severe stomach cramping and diahrea.
Exhausted. Burning aching pain all over body. Tummy hurts and feels little bloated.. Arms ache. Rt hand and wrist swollen and feel sprained. Sinuses slightly congested. Feet tingle and burn. Legs throbbing.
♫I will cling to the Old Rugged Cross and exchange it some day for a crown.♫

Breakfast: 3 oatmeal energy balls, Apple juice
Got dizzy getting ready for church. Had to sit a bit. Out of breath.
By end of music service my head is pounding, hands throbbing, legs burning throbbing, feet chilly, brain fogging, rt hip throbbing
Not feeling well. Joe sweet to order pizza for dinner bc I’m not up to cooking.
Symptoms: feet freezing, lft leg tingling, headache, low back throbbing, very sleepy, Charlie horse cramping in abdomen – ouch!!!
Lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with tingling. Legs pounding throbbing. Upper back and hands stinging. Brain foggy and blurry. Distracted easily. Body having trouble regulating temperature – cold then warm then freezing all the while skin cool to the touch.
March 8
500 decent nights sleep. Weird dreams.
Arms & hands go numb while reading Bible. Severe stomach cramping, rt ear hurt, sinuses congested, post nasal drip tastes aweful.
Bible reading: Deut 28-29, Ps 50:6, 2 Cor 1:3-4, Philippians 4:12-13
Goals today: wash linens, straighten & declutter pantry, help Jordon file taxes, plan meals for week.
Symptoms: dizzy at times – must stop and focus on specific thing until it eased or close eyes momentarily, stabbing, low back pain – must lay on belly until it eased before can do something else, took rx for pain, hands throbbing, brain blurry, headache, slight stuffy nose, severe abdominal cramping pain periodically, rt ear hurts, back itches
March 9
445 woke to muscle spasms and being hot. Didn’t take pm meds. Exhausted and irritable. Nerves twitching thru body and skin itchy all over.
Bible reading: Deut 30-31, Ps 40:11-12, 2 Timothy 1:9-12, Acts 16:12-16, 40
Goals today: plant tomato seeds, hang mini blind, take care of sick son, Ladies Bible Study tonight.
Planted tomato and pepper seeds, mini blind too short, difficulty getting Jordon Dr apt but God directed steps to new Dr who saw him today. Confirmed sinus infection and ear infection. Antibiotic called into pharmacy quickly. Bible study went well. Ladies excited about Secret Sister Ministry.
Symptoms: muscle spasms, temperature fluctuating, nerves twitching, headache, sinuses congested, exhausted, low back throbbing, brain foggy, vision blurry, dizzy, lower lft leg tourniquet tightening feeling with numbness and tingling to toes, feet freezing and icy cold, rt ear aches, skin itchy, whole body aches, nerves feel like their crawling, shoulders ache.
Drank sleepy time tea.
Three things I’m thankful for…
- Able to get Jordon seen at Dr’s and diagnosis confirmed
- God’s protection on highway
- My Mom understands what I’m going thru and experience with the TBI part of my injuries.
